In genre I honestly didn’t consider about it as the client didn’t require or suggest me anything, their requirement was only to concentrated on the target audience and used suitable font. Therefore, if I got to choose it would probably be entertainment. As I used vibrant colour background, fun and interesting characters design and movement, well-known soundtrack chosen and catchy editing. All of this will entertain the audience as it likely to be interacting with their mood and give fun and cheerful expression.

My animation contents were similar to my original idea of my storyboard planning. The scene in the storyboard was precise to the animation video because I always keep track and follow my storyboard plan. Through, as I strictly follow the storyboard plan and Dope Sheet when there had a problem occurred I didn’t decide to change because I’m concern that it may affect the whole scene. The problem occurred when the pig dancing scene as the scene appears too short, and I didn’t take enough action to fix the mistake, this made the audience get little confused and comment on this error. Toward the end, the general content identical to my storyboard plan.

The style of my animation were quite simple as it contains variety of characters movements moving on the vibrant background colours. Together with simple and minimal pixel font, in overall the style of the animation wasn’t too complex, it does work well throughout the animation and look professional as from the audience feedback; majority of them think it professional this may due to the style of an animation.

There is not much content in my animation, so the narrative contains only in the last scene, where they had the voice over readout “Game Over Lounge” lines together with the Game Over Lounge text below its logo. I recorded my voice-over in a closed room where I turn the door and air-condition off to make the voice remain high quality and they it would not have any noise leak in. However, later on, I imported the noise into my laptop and put it in Audacity to add some effect in. To improve it from the audience feedback, I would add more narrative and tagline on the last scene, so it can help to interact with the audience and make the video purposed turn clearer and all people can easily understand what the video is about after watching it.

There are many characters in my 2d animation. In the total, there were around 22 characters. The characters appear throughout the scene. The character was created by using an online pixel program called “Piskel”, the character prototypes outlined from different sources. The characters feedback were highly positive and the majority of people does like it. Therefore, there is still some improvement I prefer to improve if I got a chance to, I would put many characters in one scene, so it will look more interesting. Subsequently, I would make my characters more bright as I felt that the background are dominant toward the character, so if I adjust the colour it will make the character design turn outstanding.

The technique I used was stop-motion, where I put a series of the image together at 23. 98 frames per seconds, that creates the illusion of moving image when played together consistently. Each character was created frame by frame through Piskel and saved as png format, there were 1065 frames in the animation.
