Wild relatives of domestic dogs and cats flourish in a slim body, but new research shows that so-called “”raw”” diets for pets are at risk of exposure to parasites and bacteria. Moreover, the reproduction of pets can put humans at risk for this infection.Pet foods and treatments, including raw meat, organs or meat bones, have recently been found in the Netherlands to include parasites such as Escherichia coli, Listeria monocytogenes, Brucella suis and Salmonella as well as parasites such as Toxoplasma and tapeworm . The researchers reported that the introduction of these pathogens through contaminated pet feedstuffs could harass people, the researchers report. [These seven foods cause the pets to die the most.]

Pet owners who are trying to feed animals with raw meat-based diet (RMDB) may think they are making healthy choices for their pooches or felines. However, no study has found that the results of this study are beneficial to health. Previous studies have shown that the opposite is true, scientists said.

According to this study, RMDB feeding is associated with a fatal type of gastroenteritis in dogs and Salmonella infections in diarrhea and cats.Previous research has shown that RMBD lacks important nutrients and can cause health problems like young animals. The diet has helped pets cause hyperthyroidism (hyperthyroidism) and has reported injuries like broken teeth and bowel holes, scientists report.Since dogs began to divide with wolf ancestors 10,000 years ago, genetic differences have made it possible for dogs to better handle diets including starch and meat. Dogs are more likely to produce amylase, a starchyzation enzyme than wolves, and the gene is 28 times more active in dogs than wolves, the researchers report in 2013.

Currently, one million Dutch households provide diets for pets, including raw meat and raw by-products, the researchers said. In order to identify microorganisms in food, we tested 35 products containing various types of raw meat and meat by-products, including chicken, beef, mutton, duck, rabbit, horse and turkey. They contain E. coli 86%, L. monocytogenes 54% and Salmonella 20%. Scientists have found that parasite DNA was detected in 29% of the samples. In general, the microbial evidence collected by the researchers in the sample has fallen within acceptable limits for commercially produced pet products in the Netherlands. However, the amount of E. coli in 40% of RMDBs exceeded the limits that humans could safely ingest and contact with pet food could lead to human infection. Contaminated surface; Or researchers with infected pets.

Analysis of Salmonella in this study showed resistance to antibiotics making it difficult to treat the infection. The researchers concluded, “”It is important to encourage awareness of the risks associated with feeding RMBD to pets, and pet owners should be educated about personal hygiene and proper handling of RMBD.””
