Benefits and Drawbacks of Google Search

Technology has become so much advanced that it is very much involved in our lifestyles and every day we lean on it. The advancement of technology is reached to our pocket in form of mobile phone. In 2019 it is expected number of mobile phone users will increase 67 percent of world’s population. It’s use makes the efficient flow of work in our lives. Furthermore, we are living in the age of technology and every day we witness new and emerging mobile applications that take over the world. Today I am going to talk about the application that is seldom used by the people around the globe. And this specific application that is under discussion is known as “Google Search” which is also known as Google Web Search or Simply Google. Google Search is the acknowledged web search source that is recognized almost in every country of the world. This search engine was initially launched on 4 September 1998 which is around 20 years ago from today. It was written in computing languages python, C and C++ and just for the sake of convenience, it is available in 149 languages to eradicate language barrier. Almost 4.5 Billion users remain active on it monthly and that is why it is considered one of the most usable and reputable search engines present in the age. It is revenued by AdSense. 

Google search provides so much access to the users which predominantly includes checking for flight statuses, tracking of your luggage and packages, the weather forecast, currencies of different countries, Unit and time and other conversions, the definitions and much more that can count in terms of providing good interactive experiences by users. These were the basic uses of the Google Search application. Google search hunts for texts that are uploaded somewhere on the internet and other graphical contents such as images or data contained in databases. Google search was created by two people namely Larry Page and Sergey Brin. Initially. Till now Google accustomed Google Voice Search by which users can interact with the search by voicing over it instead of engaging into a tiring writing style. More the possibility of the search term more is the indication of the trends in economic, social and health perspective. 

Google has many competitions that it has to deal with overtime. Google’s rise was largely due to a patented algorithm called PageRank, extracting the most related and important information. Google was also known as BackRub. Basically, Google offers helps a given search string to be accessed among web pages present in abundance. Google is an amazing platform where people can find ease in looking for the things that matter to them. It is very much recommended for the users so they can use it very much and it can make their lives so easy for they may often need to navigate certain places and other than that whenever the users require the meaning for a certain word they can open the Google Search and find the information that is of their use. To add more, it is very much recommended using Google Search for not only it provides quick searches upon writing in a string but also It offers you plenty of useful interactive experiences that you can do only by speaking in your microphone or sharing a snap. In just one sentence, it is an amazing application to engage the best search experience.

As so far this app has eased the way of getting knowledge enrichment, it has some drawbacks. It has been remained focused on over time and its manufacturers gave a pretty tough time on solving them and redesigning it. Some further information related to the claims and criticism by the users over time across the globe is precisely monitored to evaluate the performance and usefulness. With the message of “This may harm your computer”, The Google flags the search string for sake of providing security to the user and acknowledging them of the presence of Malware Bug. For these bugs can, in turn, harm the computer from which the searches are made? Also, earlier, with every search that is done on Google, the traces are left, and this was followed by the privacy critics given by users worldwide. Although for some reasons this turned out to be good for the detection of law enforcement and the criminal accord. It was made possible to decipher the inappropriate texts followed in the string on Google Search. If the information isn’t set to erase or hide, the computer or on any other browsing engine on which the searches are made are in turn stored in the respective systems as a specific IP Address by default. Google became a source of annoying for people and they criticized it for storing cookies on user’s system to store search preferences, a way which also enables them to track a user search records and retain the data for more than a year. With the usage of the AutoCorrect feature, Google can assume the most searched string by the users across the globe and in this way the identity management system was reinforced. Google search also involves this new feature that is known as a personal tab by which users can effectively reach to their Google photos and various other things such as emails and messages thus it is evident that Google search is quite a useful tool for users to rely on. The drawbacks exist in every case, but maximum benefits can overlook minimum drawbacks. 

Google Search is quite an authentic medium for information. Google works so fast as it provides the required information in a fraction of seconds meanwhile it sorts through billion of algorithms present on the internet. Thus, it is very efficient. It focuses on user’s command fully and respond to them quickly with negligible delay. Google Search is redundant with interactive experiences with users. This is leading the market of E-Commerce with a great rate and rapid changes over time. Thus, it is a trend-setter.
