Lifestyle

The Italian lifestyle is all about sunshine, rich culture and traditions, historical heritage around every corner. Most small towns in Italy markets at least once or twice a week, while in the larger cities you can find markets almost everywhere. Italy is the prize of food they have some of the best food in town fresh, delicious, and local. The lifestyle in Italy is very lay back and chill people would rather spend time with the family there than spend more money, it’s almost like all the people in Italy are friends with each other and have anyone’s back.

Climate

Usually the climate varies mostly from the north to the south of Italy. The Alps have a harsh climate, with very cold winters and very hot summers, particularly humid summer and winter and a shorter and less intense cold season than in the north; summers are longer. In the southern end of Italy and the islands winters are not as harsh as the north and southern end. Autumn temperatures are similar to summer areas in Italy.

Fashion

In Italy, each region has a traditional costume, now most people wear traditional costumes during a special celebration (this usually happens during agricultural festivals e.g. the end of the harvest season) also historical parades. Traditionally women wear a wide dress, that must cover her ankles. This is worn with a tight bodice and a short small waist coat to cover her shoulders. Sometimes they wear a cap or a veil too. The colours of Italy are bright and colourful to show fun and joy, most of the time the same colours of their regional flag.

History

Italy was not free until 1870. Before this time, the country was separated into different states ruled by France, Spain, Austria and other foreign countries. There were many attempts to bring the states together but all of these attempts failed until 1860.

Food

Italian food is what most people fantasize Italian food is famous throughout the world. Food is the main subject in Italy, every city and town in Italy has markets where people like to shop daily for fresh food produce e.g. fresh fruit, vegetables, meat and fish. Many of the markets and small shops specialising in one of a kind foods. Weather climates in Australia are becoming more extreme and reliable by the year thanks to global warming. As our planet heats up the forecast gets hotter making the food disappear. Feeding millions of people in these changing conditions is very hard. It requires for the crops to adapt to the new climate from dry to hot environments. Climate change and extreme weather events impact our food heavily from meat and vegetables, right through wine. Many people feel the effects of climate change is expected to continue for many decades.

Northern and southern Italy are very different in climate. The southern climate is very warm weather while the northern the climate is very opposite its very cold both sides give a good portion of food each year. Dry pasta, like spaghetti and rigatoni, is found mostly in the southern areas because the dry pasta needs warm weather to dry the pasta. Although fresh pasta like pappardelle and tagliatelle, are more popular in the north since it does not need to be dried. The climate also affects the types of food and plants that grow in Italy. Some plants, like olive trees would grow better in warm weather meaning it is mostly grown in the southern areas. In the south olive oil is used while in the northern areas butter and lard are used instead of olive oil. Obviously, the geographical lands of Italy influence on the Italian produce.

Australian lifestyle

Australia is known as a democratic nation, these factors combined with warm climate and exotic landscapes, is why the rank among the most popular reasons why people choose to move to Australia. Australians love the great outdoors. There are many parks and beaches around the area you would also see the frequent football stadium.

Education

Schooling lasts for 13 years, from kindergarten to senior secondary. In Australia school is compulsory until at least the age of 16. There are many different types of schools such as government schools, non-government schools (including religion based schools such as Catholic or Islamic schools). Although all schools must be registered with the state or territory education department and subjects to government requirements in terms of teacher registration. All schools offer a broad curriculum such as English, mathematics, environment, science, art, languages apart from English, technology, health and physical education.

All around Australia millions of people in Australia try and find a job every year and it isn’t any easier when heaps of tourist take over loads of jobs. Australian labour market can be very hard to find. How quickly can you find a job in Australia? Well it really depends on economic factors, qualification and skills, depends on the type of work that you are seeking.

Italian ice-cream is lighter than any American or Australian ice cream and its lower in milk fat. In southern Italy, it can also be fruity, while in the northern areas it would be creamy. Italians create amazing gelato flavours, such as lemon, blood orange, watermelon, pineapple, and apple.

Pasta

There are so many different types of pastas to choose from. The name pasta describes their shape, linguine (little tongues) and penne (quills). This is a basic rule that the pasta is meant to be long and thin and shaped, this means that the pasta can hold more sauce, such as macaroni. Rich sauces are generally better on pasta.

Olive oil & vinegar

A simple salad using lettuce leaves or rocket are always served with a main meal in Italy. The best dressing is with a good-quality extra virgin olive oil and red wine vinegar or balsamic vinegar.
