Rodrigo Duterte and His Sharp Tongue

The Catholic Church called him as a womanizer, corrupt, a sinner. And the President started throwing back and even cursing them for condemning him.

With the knowledge of who and what is our President, he have a sharp tongue, easy to say curses, straight forward talks or bold and frank. But, basing on our President's presented evidence against the Catholic Church leaders, our presidents stand true and have points. He called the Catholic Church leaders as womanizers the same as he is, pointing to Bishop Bacani saying that he has two wives.

Adding that they too asked for a vehicle from the former President Gloria Arroyo, saying it is called corruption which is the Church should not accept or asks anything from the government for personal extravagance. He also called those acts as "Hypocrisy". But in some points, I also disagree with the President, calling God as a stupid God. His argument stated that "why did God created something, when at the end it would destroy the rest of His creations?" God created human beings not robots, He gave us freewill to choose between good and bad, although He really wanted us to follow His own will. The bible says "God created everything in purpose" the word "everything" means "all" nothing is exempted. We don't have the right to question God about His creations.

The President even challenged any Christian to prove that God is true by going up to heaven and take selfie with Him and then return here on earth and show it to him and he would believe that God really exist. But the bible says that no one could ever see God face to face or else he or she will die for we are not worthy to see Him with all His glory. Unless we accepted Jesus Christ as our personal Lord and Savior and die here on earth but will spend eternity with God in heaven.

In conclusion, all we need is simply respect from one another. What the President have said neither it is the truth or simply fraud or depending himself, but I believe that we should take time to look deeper into it. It is a time for us to check and balance our beliefs and our faith as Christians. Are we acting our faith or we are simply following the world's tradition or standard, not the standard that God have set before us? It should be Jesus, the basis of our standard and lifestyle.
