Democratic leadership is a style of leadership that involves a number of stakeholders, from employees to customers, in every aspect of the decision making process. Another common characteristic of democratic leaders is that they tend to allocate and redistribute responsibilities among other members of their organisation. This style of leadership was implemented in a number of different successful organisations, with a notable example being the company Apple. The current Apple CEO Tim Cook is considered by many to be a strong example of a democratic leader.
