Google Cloud, recently, launched new features and solutions for content creators where animations were completed on virtual workstations as the technology partner BeBop managed various workstations. These systems are suitable for mid market firms which are growing as it provides unlimited resource utility and on demand features. Some providers give customized solutions in hybrid cloud, which can fit the desired budget and combine technologies of cloud with existing infrastructure effortlessly.

Basically, cloud hides the server management processes from the workstations and allocates resources on demand and hence, is mostly a function as a service. It breaks up applications into functions and rent is paid for the cloud only when the functions run.

Need for cloud

Most companies handling a number of data across various geographical regions require duplicate data at various servers to handle operations which is affected by server space and bandwidth. Every time a new file is created, it is stored at various locations, servers and wastage of storage space happens. This de duplication can be prevented by storing such information at cloud, instead, of storing files, the case where files which are just of 1 mb is stored several times and its 100 copies (equivalent to 100 mbs) are transmitted on server. The new system can prevent duplication of such files. The main purpose is to reduce storage space – transferring less data, improving security and promoting easy disaster recovery.
