Agriculture is a very important thing in Kenya. They rely on this to make a living. Agriculture makes of for about a forth of the country’s economic production. This industry employs about three-fourths of the people there. Kenya is the biggest producer of tea which makes it, its cash crop. Some other things that the farmers there grow are; avocados, bananas, beans, cashews, coffee, cotton, pineapples, potatoes, sugar cane, tomatoes, wheat and pyrethrum. “Cash crops are products raised for sale. Subsistence crops are those raised by farmers for their own use”. Beef and dairy products are Kenya’s most important livestock products. More important livestock products include: goats, poultry, and sheep. Agriculture is a big deal in Kenya and it a very important way of life. Another important thing in Kenya is its climate, weather and its wildlife.

Kenya's climate is dry and consists of soil that isn’t very rich and not very many plant life. While the climate and lands aren't very good the wildlife however is very populated. “A spectacular variety of wild animals live in kenya”. The wildlife consists of antelopes, elephants, giraffes, leopards, lions, rhinos, and zebras. These animals catch the eye of a lot of tourists. Another interesting topic is the way of life.

Most people who live in Kenya make a living by working by “farming and raising livestock for a living”. When owning a small farm these people produced enough food for them to live off of. A lot of people can grow so much they offer the rest for sale. If they don’t own a farm most people work part time jobs which helps pay for the food they need instead of growing it. Something that is very popular in Kenya is coffee and tea plantations, these are usually owned by wealthy landowners.

Around 3 percent of people who live in Kenya are known as pastoralists, which means they raise livestock for a job. These people usually move from place to place with their livestock and they find land for them to graze on and they’ll find some streams and water sources for them. Pastoralists judge each other by how many animals the other one has and this determines how wealthy people are considered.

Many of the urban people work in stores, factories, or for the government. The jobs in Kenya are fast paced and they must adjust fast. Even though they are working in a fast pace cities they still find time and visit their rural relatives. Another really important thing about Kenya is the government. Government. A president just like the U.S rules the people. The president of Kenya is Uhuru Kenyatta. He became president on March 4, 2013 by the peoples votes. Kenya is also apart of the international trade.

Kenya sends out less products than they take in. One of the main things that Kenya exports is tea.”Other things include cement, clothing, coffee, cut flowers, fish, petroleum products, and vegetables”. Some of the things that Kenya imports includes iron and steel, industrial machinery, plastic, and transportation equipment. Kenya trades with a lot of countries that includes China, Japan, India, South Africa, Uganda, UK, and the United States. Kenya has a lot of sports that they favor as well.

In Kenya dancing is a very popular sport and its ver ritual as well. “Most of the people enjoy both dancing and watching concerts and dance performances”. Soccer is by far the country’s most popular sport. Soccer isn’t just played for major leagues it’s also played by adults and children for fun. One more popular sport in Kenya is track and field. A lot of Kenya runners have one a lot of medals in the track and field in the international competition. Another important thing in Kenya is religion.

“More than 75 percent of Kenya’s people are christian”. The rest of the 10 percent of the religions are muslims. Kenya has a lot of mosques which are places people go to worship. There used to be a lot of ld religions that the ancestors used to practice but they don’t get practiced a lot if any. Another interesting thing about Kenya is their education.

The government pretty much runs the schools in Kenya and sets up some of the schools. So this means a lot of communities have to come together and help build school for regions that don’t have them. “These schools are called self help, or harambee schools”. Harambee means to pull together. The down side of school is that junior high and high school students have to pay tuition but elementary school kids don’t have to pay anything. Kenya also has a lot of public and private universities. Some of the major ones include The University of Nairobi and Kenyatta University. This shows a lot about their education. Something else interesting about Kenya is their arts.
