You can live for less time without water than you can without food. Nonetheless, food plays an integral part of the survival of any living thing no matter how it is ingested. For human beings specifically, putting food on the table is a basic need apart from water and shelter and so this shows how important what you eat and how you eat it is, not only for survival but also for sustenance health-wise. What you eat can tell a lot about the kind of health choices you’ve made, for example, choosing to eat junk, fatty food on a daily basis only makes one prone to obesity which leads to all kinds of bodily harmful conclusions e.g. heart complications and diabetes.
It’s all a matter of perspective. If an individual has health problems that are associated to what they eat, they can have a moment of enlightenment and decide to eat healthy. If a person is obese, they could decide to take up recipes that would result to weight loss and vice-versa. In a majority of the world, the norm suggests that there should ideally be three meals in a day, every day, i.e. breakfast, lunch (mid-day meal) and supper/dinner (evening meal). A good healthy breakfast sets the pace for the rest of the day, finding a specific recipe that suites one’s personal health needs is important, inter-changing between recipes with high and low caloriesfor a certified healthy person medically, that is, having a recipe that contains fresh, non-processed foods e.g. fruits, vegetables and juice one day and high calorie; eggs or bacon or pancakes with tea or coffee, on another day, hypothetically. At the same time, an overweight person should take up a recipe that provides less calories to lose weight and become healthy, and for a person looking to gain weight should follow a recipe plan that provides them with more calories in order to gain weight as required. This should be applied to all the other meals taken, including snacks, not just breakfast.
A low-calorie diet ranges between 800 and 1500 calories a day, and ay include but not limited to fresh produce juice, salads or cooked meals. For some people, i.e. the overweight, looking to lose weight, many low-calorie diets can be commercially-made from formulas of 800 calories or fewer that replace all foods usually eaten. On the other hand, high-calorie diets range from 1501 upward, and may include but not restricted to some proteins and whole grains. It’s all a matter of finding a balance that best suits an individual’s health requirements.
If a person needs to improve or maintain their health, they should take their time to research and inquire from all possible sources, recipes that complement what they need at a particular stage of their lives. In this age that we live in, that has been exponentially simplified due to the wide world wed, where one can find anything, it’s just a matter of knowing what you are looking for, and a person is not assured by this, there are well trained and certified nutritionists whose whole purpose is to give advice on all matters concerning this topic.
