Shambaugh makes great observations about good attributes for leadership, then carefully uses examples from Hillary Clinton’s life to demonstrate them. Although, in the book it is mostly about the author’s own personal and professional views. It mainly reads as “I have done this, and I have done that”. Sources from Hillary Clinton are little and far between. Overall, the book is useful, but the title can be a bit misleading. However, I did enjoy reading on how she rose and became successful and was admired by many people including empowering women.

In conclusion, Hillary Clinton is an authentic leader that can be observed by many people. Her behavior, communication, skills and abilities, values, motivation she has handled in her life without giving up. Those who are wanting to gain respect and be a successful leader need to follow the suggestions given by this leader.
