Learn to make compost is a very rewarding process that is simple and easy to know and very forgiving. Any recycle we carry through a composting process even if it is a small operation or up to commercial quantities, which helps to reduce waste and improve the quality of our water, because nothing is less waste water treatment which requires the valuable resources that bring our wastes to treatment plants. Let us help ourselves and one another by learning some important things.

We’ll find all the many unwanted items that need to be set at the end of the day and we’ll regularly throw them into the garbage or feed them with eagerly waiting garbage gobbler with a convenient way to clean up the mess.

Is this a great way to do these things but it creates another mess?

Unfortunately, it helps to this beautiful planet that we live in. It’s so easy to change if we all learn how to make compost even in a small range. It’s really easy and yes even if it’s OK!

What do we need? For a start of any organic product, that is to say, whatsoever growing may be added to a composting process for recycling in the process that nature has provided for millions of years. So we have to agree that the process is working and giving up that it really works very well in fact. In all, let’s look at us to throw and see what we can do to compromise. There are some things to avoid for a start until you gain a little bit of knowledge and confidence but that’s really a simple process. So we need raw materials and a container or place to start the process.

How much material we want to compost is the next consideration. Let’s start with what comes out of the kitchen while there are always an unwanted amount of food scraps that get up. If it’s all been envisaged to start with then the best way to have fun in the kitchen compost is to start a worm farm! Children of course love them, especially children and just watch them do not eat them. It’s a great way to get the whole family involved while it’s a great talking point and it’s fun to watch when things get lost. A well-run worm also scents the smell and can be managed in a cool place indoors.

For a larger amount we have to look at recycling outside where we can build a pile of compost or use compost bins to break the leaves and branches into a great mulch and masked by the conditioner. Understanding something about carbon in the nitrogen ratio of the plant really helps but the basis is that microorganisms need to cling to some nitrogen to break woody parts which are high in carbon. It is a ratio of ratios that is extremely forgiving but taking them to the desired range that results in better compost quality in a much faster time limit.

There are four main criteria to be considered when making compost: carbon in the nitrogen ratio of the pile size or container the amount of water plus the amount of air available.

The size of the stack determines whether the composting process is hot or cold. A cubic yard will often allow the pile to build heat to produce better compost quality and this should be the minimum sized for a warm composting technique. Materials will break down faster and diseases and weed seeds will not survive if the desired temperatures are reached. Water is required to keep the piles moist but not soaked.

Wind is not something we usually think about a pile of compost but the organisms that do all these activities are alive and need OXYGEN just like us or the bad critters occupy and this is where The bad smell usually comes from.

Container containers help to heat and keep piles clean and distant. Will help in a glass of good compost turning and allowing more air to when needed.
