Beef, fish, chicken and pork, the four kinds most common meat in USA, and from these four kinds, probability people like beef the most. However some foodies point out that humans should not eat beef that much. Compare to other three kinds of meat, beef do have much nutrition, but also, beef have the most shortcomings and those are very harmful to the human life.
Why should people not eat beef that much? Since long ago, beef has been the kind of meat that rich people eat periodically. Because keeping cattle is very onerous and takes mass of money, beef became the most expensive kind of common meat that people have seen in normal life.

Furthermore, if people intake too much of saturated fat, the prevalence of colon cancer will rise up very fast which will make the patient feels stomach hurts and when they defecation they can see blood in the stool. Some science reports from Harvard Medical School proved this, “Although the results vary, studies from around the world have suggested that a high consumption of meat is linked to an increased risk of colon cancer.” (Red Meat and Colon Cancer) Many people keep saying “Only red meat from beef can cause that much problems,not beef itself.” This is true, but people have to think about the environment they in. In the society right, how many people eat all cooked beef? The beef or steak that people eat the most is part-cooked, which means it must have some red meat in. Even so, many people still believe all the red meat is the same thing, but they are wrong. First of all, as the previous sentence says, the way we eat beef is immutable right now, people already get use to eat the part-cooked beef, and most people do not like to eat part-cooked pork, complementary, fish and chicken do not have red meat, so which means in the four kinds most common meat in USA, beef is the kind that most harmful to human body.

Pigs usually take 3 months to grow to the 100 pounds, and chicken usually take 33 to 44 days to be sellable, but cattles are different. Cattles usually take 7 to 8 months to be sellable. Compare to the chicken and pigs, the time that cattles take is way longer, that is why people may use hormone to speed up so they can shorten the growth cycle.
Everything have two sides. Because beef very nutritious, so most people only see the good side of beef, they never tried to find out the bad side of beef. Another side, the scientists think people should not stop eat beef because these many bad points, beef also have good side, but people should not eat beef all the time.
