As reported by Oboho et al. (2015), there have been records that indicate the prevalence of the disease, especially to male residents of Saudi Arabia. Having been the closest to camels, it is believed that they are highly susceptible to contracting the diseases. As the researchers allege, the disease has been very common to men who rear camels. The world health organization made a recommendation into which they suggested that those who handled or came into whichever contact with camels have to wash their hands with detergents. They also recommended that people should avoid handling sick camels unless a specialist approves of the same. There has been the case of an increase of women and children who have contracted the disease even without having come to any contact with a camel. As alleged by Oboho et al. (2015), the case is possible when they consume camel products such as milk. Therefore, it is highly recommended that camel based byproducts be cooked appropriately to avoid infections.

In the hospital in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, around 4300 cases have been reported in the previous three years alone (Nowotny & Kolodziejek, 2018). Forty percent of those who got diagnosed with the diseases succumbed to it (Nowotny & Kolodziejek, 2018). The researchers have noted that many of the patients who had mild symptoms had a death risk due to its misdiagnosis. Seventy percent of the people who got diagnosed with the disease were males aged between 16 years to 55 years (Nowotny & Kolodziejek, 2018). Many of the males were reported to undergo symptoms as follows, fever, pneumonic symptoms, respiratory distress, respiratory infections, and also coughing problems. Many of the males who had such symptoms either assumed it or were misdiagnosed, leading to their death or severity. However, the nursing department of Riyadh hospital, through their head-nurse, confirmed that there was a need for a declaration of an epidemic (Nowotny & Kolodziejek, 2018). As such, they would find means into which to sensitize the people on the means to prevent the disease. According to reports from the nursing departments, they have not found ways into which they can prevent the disease; however, the solution lies within the constructs of self-care, prevention, and early treatment.

The nurses had to come up with a unique practice, the formula that would help them handle the epidemic. Since the disease has been recognized to carry with itself the carelessness or ignorance, as argued by the researchers, many of the nurses have opted to apply some unique practices on how to handle the condition. Through the head nurse, they argued on the need to sensitize the residents on the importance of protecting themselves from the disease. Nurses would educate the patients on how best they can take care of themselves to avoid the severity of the disease and contracting it again. The main practice that nurses would employ would be the use of poster templates that would be hanging around and use of print and media. Since education is the only way to get the people to learn the causes of the disease, that would be the biggest practice so far in the line of prevention.
[bookmark: _GoBack] Nonetheless, the nurses would employ a different attitude in treating the patients. Previously, they were casual in the condition due to the uniqueness it held, and due to the lack of knowledge on how it could be handled. Since they have the rough idea of how it can be handled, a positive attitude has been accorded to the disease in various ways; (a) training more nurses on ways to handle the disease; (b) deploying well-trained nurses in many other hospitals apart from the Riyadh Hospital and so forth. This is in regards to the paper theoretical framework that asserts that the knowledge, attitude, and practice of nurses will highly impact the inpatients experiencing MERS-CoV in Riyadh. The rationale behind this framework lies in the application of practice to ensure that the condition is getting eradicated.

The above research was descriptive of the prevalence of the disease MERS-CoV, which has been argued to be quite an epidemic in Saudi Arabia. The research has been inclusive of the studied variables and provided a detailed analysis of how the variables are subjective to the disease, as mentioned above. Whereas the disease has come to the attention of the relevant departments, including the nursing department, no clear argument has been provided on how best the condition can be avoided. The research presents a gap in the prevention mechanism, regardless of the inclusion of passive variables such as infants and women who have not handled camels before. Some women and children have been diagnosed with the disease, yet they have not come into contact with the carrier animals. The nursing department has been vague on means into which a healthy family can avoid the disease from a father who contracted it. However, ins regard to the problem statement, and the research has been detailed on the ways into which the public can stay safe from the disease.
