Fellow Programme in Management in Organizational Behaviour & Human Resources is an ideal course for me to pursue my dreams .I am confident enough that at the end of 5 years I will be able to raise an organization from dust to dawn. As I firmly believe that People management is the bottom line for the success of every organization. I want to explore the various aspects of HRM in a very detailed manner that’s why I am looking for a prospect different from PGDM, as FMP fulfills my needs of a rigorous detailed learning in the very field.

From the very beginning during my early days as a kid in a small village named Karontha in Haryana I was interested in making arrangements for any small festival held in my village. To be very honest I was not as creative as other kids in art & craft or had any fancy hobbies. But yes! I was creative in a different way; I used to show my creativity in making people work in an effective manner with limited resources. I then discovered that organizing and allocation of work is above all, it’s a practice where art, science and craft meet. Because of this fact I used to get all attention from elders of my village, as they found everything going in a smooth manner. There were heaps of praises for me during these times, which used to make my peers jealous some times.

This talent in me was not God gifted in fact it was inherited to me through genes of my Dad I believe. Being a Farmer cum Engineer’s son I always used to see how workers are managed in field in growing and harvesting crops. That is the beautiful example of our ancestral culture of HRM in a magical way. I grew under a shadow of management and can relate myself to the same. What I believe is that any person working in a managerial capacity of some sort is required to put on many different hats. He must provide direction and guidance so each individual as well as the organization as a whole can accomplish their tasks and achieve their goals.

In a battle field a good sergeant is not the one who goes all guns blazing at the same time, but one who knows how to march his troops in an effective manner. While pursuing my engineering I took many challenging roles to understand the ability to collaborate, motivate and lead. I realized that all of this with a blend of functional expertise is of paramount importance for managerial success.

I started from the foundation of any organization that is by served as a volunteer in my college fest. It is very important for manager to know every aspect of each role in the organization then only he can manage efficiently. In forward to this I upgraded myself as a Project coordinator and organized an event by managing over thousand participants, following year I lead as a Committee Head and guided five project teams. By this way I learn the art of management and get to know that how any organization works and manages its every pillar to succeeds in the market. A good leader must know the strengths and weaknesses of his/her team. Only then can he overlap the deficits with those in surplus. It’s important for the manager to study the team, to know what the capabilities are, what the nature of each team mate is. He/she must lend an ear to every minute details that can prove to be costly if ignored. My belief lies in that if you pick the right people and give them the opportunity to spread their wings one doesn’t have to worry at all about team’s success.

In relation to this I applied for CAT exam. Now I want to see myself in detailed learning of OBHR, so after I can serve myself to any organization and can teach others the art of management.
