In Straight Outta Compton, the blacks are portrayed as an uncivilized group of people hyped with abominable traits. The main view shows black males as authoritative due to their social dominance they are often anticipated as very powerful and influential thus they usually command the situation. This is described by the N. W. A group in the film; the group is openly a rebellious move. There are perfect illustrations of masculinity in Straight Outta Compton such as strength and toughness, aggression, emotional changes among characters. However black masculinity is portrayed in a different way in relation to the masculinity of whites that is described as a kind of having high intelligence rather than the black males. It is important to note from the opening scene how black males and female are portrayed in the recent movies. It is seen when Easy E one of the main character visited a house mainly hosting drug dealing activity, the occupants are all Black as well as Latino women.

'Why Violent Video Games Shouldn't Be Banned'?

There is a lot of expression of masculinity by an act of violence, superiority and sexual oppression in modern movies. Jerry is the main white character he acts as a hustler, businessman and jocular. His interaction with black characters portrays blacks as unintelligent. Jerry as in-charge of the business has the responsibility for the black's contracts and continuously manipulates them since the black has inadequate legal terminologies. Furthermore, Jerry proves to be more intelligent and dominates the Blacks, by convincing Ice Cube not acquire attorney to overview his contact. Jerry demonstrates a high level of civilization by solving his case with the cops legally while the black characters tend to solve theirs in a violent manner, for example, the Ice Cube's violence response as he almost trashes the company recording office due to non-conformity with the different system.

Therefore this contrast illustrates how black culture is inferior against the white culture, this has been a dominant stereotype that blacks are unintelligent. The black males are negatively represented throughout the film on how they interact with women. There are constant scenes of naked and nude women having sex with male characters. Surprisingly the characters behave as it is normal to have sex with several women. In addition, women are not recognized with their name apart from one character's mother but just in a single scene since there is no introduction of women. There is racial stereotyping in the film when N. W. A members are viewed as a group of gang or drug dealers by the police officers, this is because they were black men and looked dangerous and suspicious while outside their studio, they expressed themselves telling the cops that they actually work at the studio, all these were in vain and the police proceed to yell at them commanding them to lift their hand up and pushes them lay down so they could search them for drugs and handgun. The cops were discriminative against these blacks since they lack evidence to show that the N. W. A was doing illegal activities.

There is constant oppression of black and consequently, there is violence against the black women by the black men, hence a cycle of victimization and reemergence of violence that is deeply pined on racism and masculinity. There is an illustration of challenges faced by black women about gender and racial inequality; there is under consideration as well as the devaluation of black females' lives and ignorance of their need due to dominant patriarchy. The Dr. Dre a member of N. W. An abused Dee Barnes and other women; it was described by feminists as beyond the wrong scenario and encourages the dangers of pervasive stereotypes of black man thus a point of victimization and oppression.

The movie reveals a unification of marginalized groups against their oppressors in that, the characters, for instance, police brutality, racial discrimination, and loss of black's at the expense of law enforcement are very critical issues through the rap group lyrics. In addition, the movie features are provisionally black cast and designed by the F. Gray who was the cameraman. The film has some misogyny throughout used to refer the black female just right from the first scene when Eazy-E walks in a crack house to place a drug deal, the drug dealers were barking orders at the women and when the cops ensues drug raid these women were seriously injured, and one was knocked down when Eazy-E gets his through-way.

The scene shows a glimpse into the prison-industrial complex where black women were swept up since their duties were handling and hiding drugs. The scene clearly depicting an orgy in a room in a hotel when N. W. A is on tour, occupied with women without tops and of varying shades of color, but the one chosen for sexual humiliation is the most dark-skinny woman who is performing fellatio on Eazy E. Although the film is based in the 1980s to early 90s experience, the black characters are now music icons, they grew up and faced this negative racial stereotype in the recent history.
