All Pixar Movies are from the same Universe

Have you ever watched a movie and thought, “I've watched that scene somewhere else before”? There's a chance you have. In Pixar films, many have seen comparisons throughout movies like Monsters Inc., Up, Brave, Wall-E, and Toy Story. Theories have been presented that the past fourteen of their movies all exist in the same universe. For example, the company, “Buy-N-Large”, is in multiple movies in different scenarios. There is also an explanation as to why all of their movies involve talking objects and animals. Although some involve humans, all involve talking animals or cars. There is plenty of evidence to support the claim that all of the Pixar movies are from the same universe and show a prominent history of how humans aren't the only species. It is most evident in Monsters Inc, Wall-E, Up, and Brave.

'Why Violent Video Games Shouldn't Be Banned'?

The beloved Pixar movies are iconic to most. Many think of films like Up or the Monster Inc. series. Some have even noticed subtle comparisons between mostly all of the Pixar movies. For example, many believe that the past fourteen Pixar movies all exist within the same universe. The first movie that starts the “Pixar Universe” is Brave. Many believe that Merida’s ability to bring life to objects or animals has carried on throughout the movies after it. This explains why all Pixar movies have animals or inanimate objects have human characteristics. (Althouse) People also believes that the Grandmother in Brave is Boo from Monsters Inc. The Grandmothers ability to disappear through doorways is in direct correlation with Boo’s fascination from where she had grown up with Mike and Sully at their workplace. (Althouse)

Throughout many movies, the company Buy-N-Large is very prominent. For example, in the movie Up, Buy-N-Large is the company that is doing construction around Mr. Frederickson’s house. It is also presented in the movies Wall-E and Toy Story. In Up, the company is trying to industrialize the city Frederickson lives in but he won't cooperate. When he goes to South Africa and meet Doug, the talking dog, and his leader who has a pack of talking dogs, many link this to the movie Brave. Up occurs years after Brave but Merida’s powers have been used recreationally. (Negroni) As animals begin to take over, we see movies like Cars come out where there is no sign of human life. This is also prominent in A Bugs Life and Monsters Inc. (“The Pixar Theory”) Another proven theory is that there is a trailer in both movies, Monsters Inc. and A Bugs Life, that look exactly the same. In A Bugs Life, it is part of the scenery. In Monsters Inc., it is the place where Darrel is sent through a mystery door. The only difference is that there are humans in the trailer in Monsters Inc. (Negroni)

In conclusion, I think the theorized evolution of Pixar movies starting with Brave then traveling to movies like The Incredibles, then Toy Story, Ratatouille, Cars, Wall-E, and Monsters Inc., all occur within the same universe. (“The Pixar Theory”) With evidence supporting why Boo is the Grandmother from Brave, the reasoning for why objects and animals have now come to life, and how some movies have no human activity at all. Within my research, there is substantial evidence proving that the past fourteen Pixar movies all occur within the same universe.
