Steve Jobs was an American who was a very successful businessman and a cancer survivor. He was a business man that invented very successful technology. He is the creator from the famous Apple; he created computers and any new technology we have. Steve Jobs was given up for adoption, but later on he was adopted by Paul and Clara Jobs both his adopted parents encourage Steve to test out any ideas he had and inquire with the electronics they had around the house and in the garage. Which later on it led Steve Jobs obviously in creating a lifelong interest in electronics and in designing really cool and helpful designs we have today. He later on dropped out of college which led many people saying that he didn't deserve life and how he was not going to be nobody in the near future because in the past America believed that it was a really bad action in dropping out or not going to college at all. But Steve proved them wrong because he was a very successful man. So I do think Steve’s success in life can really role into what is the actual value of life and how something can be turned from the worst news to being the best thing that ever happen to you. I say this because Steve Jobs was in the public's eyes when he was sadly diagnosed with cancer which led so many people into judging him, but never stopped him doing what he loved.

'Why Violent Video Games Shouldn't Be Banned'?

When Steve Jobs found out he was diagnosed with cancer in his pancreas he was very shocked. His doctors we're practically saying the type of cancer that he encountered with will cause him not to live no longer than three to six months. According to the text, “My doctors advised me to go home and get my affairs in order, which is doctors’ code for prepare to die.” This piece of evidence shows what Steve doctors were practically telling him what to do. They basically didn't have hope with Steve’s situation because they didn’t have a cure for this cancer at the moment. But eventually Steve didn't let this tragic news stop him because he learned and accepted the fact that he was in this situation and learned to have faith. Such as when he went to his following up appointment and the doctors did more studies and took a piece of the tumor from his pancreas and analyzed it and gave him really good news. According to the text,”... the doctors viewed the cells under a microscope the doctor started crying because it turned out to be a very rare form of pancreatic cancer that is curable with surgery.” With this information I personally do believe that Steve Jobs life was change completely because his perspective of life changed for the better not only for him but the way he views life. For example he truly thinks if you could believe in yourself then you could and can practically achieve anything you put your mind set to.

Which in Steve's Jobs situation he is basically showing us that the value of life has a whole different meaning, Because, the life you have you need to own it and make it your own since you need to love, value, and appreciate everything along the way you do. You need to self-love yourself because no one else will the way you do because you are the only one who knows what's going on. Also, you need to value yourself the way you are because if you don’t value yourself then how can you value someone else, such as Jobs he had to value the life he had before he could speak upon the cancer he had with his family. I truly believe valuing yourself as a person is also very important in life, because in life to achieve success is always measuring a person's income. Well I guess you can say that's how most of the society we live in today looks at it; if you don’t have any type of career then you will be missing out on what you want to do in life. Such as the value of life has to be figured because if you don't then you will end up doing something you regret in the near future. Such as Jobs he dropped out of college but managed to keep pushing forward with his amazing and intellectual electronics. Appreciating yourself is probably the main step in life because you got to really appreciate what you have in front of you and what you might be accomplishing in the near future. Such as Steve Jobs when he was in his hardest times he still managed to get through the situation and do what he enjoyed because he implied to what he loves and that was proving people he can be better than what they expected because he always thought positive and let go of the negative. Such as in the article “Just focus all your energy and dedication on the positive things in your life. If something is negative, it will always drain your energy and you would not be able to live your life to the fullest.”
