To be a president is not an easy task. It takes so much passion to be one. It takes a heart, a heart not only for the country but for the people itself, not after self-pleasure but for the welfare of everybody. A president must not be intelligent (knowing just all the laws) but to be wise (knowing and following it).

All the platforms of the president are for our country. His war on drugs aims to eliminate the country’s biggest enemy that kills thousands of innocent lives. His “Build, Build, Build” project aims to upgrade infrastructures and boost businesses that result to the creation of thousand jobs for us, the Filipinos. The Boracay Island had been closed to protect its beautiful scenery from the abusive tourists and preserve it for the next generations. These are just few actions taken by our president, and there are still more projects to come.

But there’s still one question that bothers my mind, “Can he do it all alone?”

The answer is NO!

As the popular saying states “No man is an island”, our president needs someone to go along with him. He needs someone who will take courage to lift him up when he is down and to give him advices when he doesn’t know what to do.

Everyone wants a change but no one has the initiative to take the first step. “INAASA LANG NATIN ITO SA ATING PRESIDENTE”, which is not a good thing. If we really want the real “CHANGE”, we must start within ourselves. Do not throw all the blames to our president. We must help him instead of judging and criticizing him.

We must subject ourselves to the president not the other way around. We must support him knowing that these are for our own good.

At some point, we should not forget that our president is human too. He also has emotions and issues in life but still manage to settle our country’s issues.

I hope we could be united as a whole and aspire the best for our beloved country, the Philippines.
