Therefore, I work as a psychologist in a hospital to get more advanced knowledge in behavior problems and mental health through the lens of research. During my time in the health clinic, I helped to take medical histories and comfort patients, and to encourage them to accept recommendations as well as encourage them to describe the symptoms. I have chosen a Clinical Psychology Program at the Northwestern University because the research interests of the faculties and the program are the best correspondence I have found for my goals in clinical practice and community psychology research. Furthermore, I found that the Child anxiety and Stress lab is the closest to my tendencies and I have a strong interest to join the Clinical Psychology department at the Northwestern University and work under its roof. This degree in clinical psychology will enable me to conduct new research investigating the role of different contexts in development of mental disorders and others. The coursework will give me an in-depth understanding of the current status of the field, as well as enable me to formulate my own questions and understanding regarding the progression of diseases. In addition, the clinical psychology program will train me to carry out cutting edge experiments to answer pertinent clinical issues, assisting physicians and medical professionals better comprehend, diagnose, and treat mental illness in patients.

A strong bond between the patient and the psychologist is established through patient examinations and other suitable intervention with treatment strategies which are undertaken to fully understand the mental illness of the individual. Through all the clinical experiences and academic knowledge, my interest in the questions of anxiety and depression continue to be deeply personal. I hope to address that gap a little by using the training and education I gain at the Northwestern University to gain a Master in Clinical Psychology. I would like to do both clinical work and research in the area of anxiety disorders, experimental acceptance and treatment. I believe that the program will give me the most comprehensive training in each of these areas. Therefore, the program with the faculty is outstanding and I will have the privilege of pursuing my degree there.
