My Academic Purposes Towards Applying for a Stem Scholarship

Dear Sir or Madam,

I wish to apply to the doctoral of computer communication engineering program for STEM scholarship program for the 2023 autumn intake. In this essay I share examples why this scholarship program is a solid step towards my future career as an engineer who understands and appreciates science and technology. My ultimate career idea is to hold an educational position in information technology.

In 2015, I earned a BSc degree with a specialization in computer communication engineering from AUL University in Lebanon. After graduating, I was selected as a candidate at the master’s postgraduate program. I was in general among the honor list students in my classes. During my former studies and working experience I have always proved that I will do my best to represent myself as a professional willing to work creatively as a key player in challenges to thank those who gave me a chance to prove it. Apart from my studies, I found it important to focus on social work. I volunteered as the local eye center for free eye examination and I was the president of the activity comity in my society.

Many countries are offering a STEM scholarship program, this program in the UK was the most interesting both academically and culturally. Studying in the UK offers a multitude of benefits, making it an attractive destination for international students seeking quality education and diverse cultural experiences. From renowned universities to a rich history and vibrant student life, the advantages of studying in the UK are plentiful. Moreover, studying in the UK opens doors to a wide range of career opportunities. The UK has a thriving job market, with numerous industries and sectors offering employment prospects for graduates. Many universities have strong links with industry partners, providing networking opportunities, internships, and career services to assist students in launching their careers.

There are three key reasons why I want to study at this program. First, I selected your program because of its primary focus on engineering with the most ranked universities in the UK. Second, I will be exposed to an extensive range of subjects which will enable me to acquire the essential skills of systematic research, analytical thinking and information evaluation. And finally I am sure that the knowledge that might be given for me in the UK will be applied in my future career in purpose of being a good person to serve my country and help people to achieve their goals and expand their own capabilities, we all struggle for positive changes in our society, and I believe that all changes that we want in our society have to start with ourselves.

In conclusion, I would like to say that this STEM scholarship program represents to me an opportunity to fully focus my attention on the main objective of achieving the best I can in engineering program and since my temper is naturally curious and adventurous so the fact that the destination to Turkey will be surprising and pleasant for me.
