Being born in a family full of Doctors and Engineers, I also had a dream in my childhood of doing something different for myself. Though, I studied sciences in my O-Levels and with quite a lot of hard work I was able to achieve good grades. With the aim of becoming an Engineer, while doing my AS-Levels, I realized I wasn’t made for sciences and cannot pursue my career in engineering, though I had no problem in understanding or studying Physics, Mathematics & Urdu.
During my A’ levels, I was much uninspired with the judicial system in Pakistan which is still struggling to give right judgments to the people. The law and order system in Pakistan is still deteriorating which gives me an opportunity to become a lawyer and improve the system while becoming a part of it. The less fortunate people here wait for ages in the hope of justice and the people with money and power are considered to be exempted from any rules and regulations.
My interest in the legal system is not irrational, being from a family in which all members are doctors & engineers, every one insisted me to become and engineer or doctor but I wanted to get knowledge and achieve something that's my dream to do LAW. I have a faith that Law is relevant to everyone and everyday life as we live within a system consisting of rules which controls every important decision of our life. It is my flair for the framework and how it has an essential role in the changing of society and its people, inspired me to pursue this subject at higher education. I think I would be an asset to the law school provided I gain the opportunity to study law. Higher education from abroad is valued everywhere and exposure increases.
I want to be a role model for my family. My interests are playing football and Cricket. I have played these games at later college level. I am interested in reading newspapers and encyclopedia. I also have an interest in politics as I was heading the Pakistan Youth Organization for 2 years.
I now wish to pursue an undergraduate Law degree in Law from UK and then come back and make a significant change in this society. Law schools of UK are renowned for their research and highly qualified faculty, which attracted me towards them. I believe the learning experience I will get there could not be found anywhere else.
