My Motivation To Pursue Bachelors In Healthcare Management

 Swine flu, Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome, Cancer, Alzheimer’s disease, Obesity and Diabetes are some of the emerging diseases and lifestyle disorders whose incidences are on the rise. The current arsenals of drugs and public healthcare facilities have been inadequate in curbing these menaces and providing total relief to patients. With an increased international emphasis on quality of life, there is an immediate need to optimize current medical and pharmaceutical resources to develop well organized and effective healthcare delivery systems that will lead to superior health outcomes. Moreover, stringent policies at the local, national and international levels need to be established that will govern the successful administration of equitable health and medical facilities.

My decision to pursue Bachelors in Healthcare Management with concentration in Health Policy and Management has stemmed from my desire to understand the complex relationship between pharmaceutical companies, insurance agencies, non-profit organizations, government bodies and the healthcare industry. Healthcare Management curriculum is applicable to a wide range of areas, including the health care industry, public works and even public policy.

As the healthcare needs of the population continue to change, new people are needed to be able to both provide and manage the care given. Since High School, I have become very aware of the social and healthcare disparities prevalent in many of our communities, and have taken action to help address these issues. Since many of these healthcare facilities are essentially businesses, I believe that reform and change must come from a business perspective. I hope to be able to gain acceptance to this BA in Healthcare Management program, using the skills that I will gain to make the healthcare system more efficient and cost-effective.

Studying in Germany has always been my dream because it is on the top at research since the 18th century. Germany has the strong economic background and people of Germany are more punctual than any other country in the world. Germany is well known for its rich history in culture and arts, offering students an enriching international experience whilst combining world-class education. I also learned more about German culture while learning the German language, Because of this, I decided to pursue Bachelors studies in Germany.

A coin has two faces. Similarly, in my view, I feel that extracurricular activities are as important as studies in estimating a person's overall capacity. I also took part in many co-curricular activities and events to broaden my knowledge and improve my social skills. I think I would be well-suited to student life as I have a range of hobbies. These include reading, cycling and playing Badminton. All these have helped me develop a well-rounded personality.

This BA in Healthcare Management from Arden University, Berlin will give me the opportunities to make a difference in my community through effective leadership and educated financial decisions. This program will also help reinforce many of the concepts in healthcare and the life sciences that pertain to the field, an understanding of which will help me to better gauge the types of projects that will result in the best outcomes for patients. I believe that the education that I will receive through this BA program will prepare me for my future dream career as a healthcare manager, where I will be able to use my leadership abilities to oversee and enhance patient care. I believe your University provides me an energetic atmosphere, which will shape me to be a good thinker and a learner. I am confident that I would meet all the above qualities and hence I am looking forward to considering me for admission.
