My Pursue for Graduate Studies at Nyu: Computer Science

I have obtained information about facilities and courses after a detailed study of university websites and decided to apply to New York University (NYU) for graduate studies. I have come to know that many professors are engaged in research in fields that interest me. I consider it a privilege to be taught by such a renowned faculty. New York University provides an encouraging environment that will provide a platform to explore a certain direction of my interests and my goals. Within NYU application I am pledge to do the program with enthusiasm and hard work and use the opportunity to advance my learning better. 

I am a person who has always had a deep passion and fascination for areas requiring an analytical approach. The most challenging of all problems were my favourites and getting their solutions would leave me with a serious sense of ecstasy. I always did and always managed to solve the most challenging problems. With a compelling desire for excellence, hard work became my second nature. Since technology has been changing at a very fast pace and evolving continuously this has drawn my interest towards technology, as we know technology has made things efficient and effective but when I see all engineering branches, the ' Computer Science and System Engineering' at the Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (Kiit), one of the best in such institutes. The computer Science branch has contributed much to the world of technology.

Right from my school, I was very fond of mathematics and science. This basic interest led me to select Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry as my major subjects in high school. When I finished school I select to pursue my career in Computer Science and System Engineering. Because of my natural ability in technology and my choice for the Computer Science sector. While studying for my degree, I took a keen interest in various core subjects like Digital Electronics, Data structures, and Operating Systems. These courses helped me gain a strong background in computer science fundamentals. These were suitably complemented by laboratory courses. The challenging tasks that were a part of the laboratory courses help me to develop the necessary technical and programming skills.

In the third year of my bachelors studies, I was introduced to the topic of Computer Networks. Already have sound knowledge in practical computer networking, I was at ease with this subject. During this course, I learned the software side of networking i.e. how to actually implement and develop different servers. The sessions in the labs were devoted to developing programs like the implementation of connection-oriented and connectionless Echo Servers, concurrent multithreaded File Transfer Server and Chat Server.

During undergraduate study, I was introduced to basic programming languages of C, C++, and Java. I understood the key features of every language and realised that one was an improvement of the other. Java is the most powerful and robust language of all fascinated me the most. My first computer science project was “Educational Information Management System”, It is an educational portal for students, parents, teachers, and institutions to communicate in a complete knowledge-based interactive environment. It is important to know the personal strengths and weaknesses of students through self-assessment. Indicates a change in existing content and methods of learning processes. Wireless features are included for any time, anywhere communication. This program was initially written in C++ following the concepts of object-oriented programming. Currently, in my fourth year, the area of microcontroller is of great interest to me. I undertook a project in Microcontroller Based Cellular Voting Machine now day’s electronic voting machines are used for the election. Here present a cellular voting machine based on microcontroller. I have also done a 1-month internship at Alacrity E-Commerce Solutions Pvt Ltd Nagpur. I am sure the faculty and the facilities at New York University are excellent and the environment is highly beneficial for education and research. Therefore, I strongly desire to continue my further education and research in MS Computer Science at New York University. If given an opportunity, I assure you my devotion and determination and my desire to excel would allow me to make an exceptional contribution to the university.
