My Pursuit of a Bachelor's Degree in Law

From my childhood, to till now, I have been exposed to various community services. My greatest influencers are my parents – my dad had 30 years of civil service. Mum still actively leading the 'Rural Improvement Club' at the age of 65. As a kid, I would enjoy teaching children younger than my age, and joyfully join the church choir. Being involved in a series of community outreach programs, I have also been a part of me inside and outside school from primary until college, and volunteering for the NZ Red Cross Organization is the latest. I never thought these activities would help me to come in such a good starting. The confidence in me is the most excellent trait I have. My faith has enabled me to be academically strong, establish leadership skills, and acquire interpersonal skills. Everyone might have struggled with trusting on their competence. It helps us to execute well to be able to be successful in our personal and professional life. Even if studying Law is tough, I firmly believe it is doable through extra hard work.

I, therefore, think that all these experiences can help me to increase my leadership, communication, social activities, and teamwork as well. I have a keen desire to move forward to establish a friendship and relationship and also work for the desired people in my country. I am confident that all these experiences and qualities of my own make me capable of being more determined achieving satisfactory success.

I think I have to come up with a smooth and robust idea of why I'm deserving of the scholarship.

1. I will hold the same record as I take Law again. I will keep on maximizing the opportunity to learn more as I search for answers for my curiosities, and my passion will drive me here.

2. Live by the values of lawyers like respect, integrity, consistency, trust, collaboration, responsibility, etc. which is also in line with CDU's values.

3. I can prepare myself, gear myself with the quality education/global competitiveness education system of CDU. It can make me gently very proud to feel that, 'I'm a product of CDU's culture who will be an instrument, may it be small or large ways, .for social justice, etc.'

I will be pursuing a bachelor's degree in Law from this university. After completion of my graduation, I am planning to go back to my country and to serve those people who need my assistance very severely. Yes, it is true, I may not help all needy people, but I want to do what I can do from my side.
