Personal Statement on Why I Want to Teach

What can be a purpose of becoming a techer? In "Why I want to teach" essay I will explaine my purpose of becoming a teacher. Moreover, within the “Why I want to become a teacher” essay I will share where I am going to study and where I am currently now.  

Why Me?

I am someone who enjoys seeing children thrive in their class, so I think it is important to cater to each child's needs so that all students can feel capable and successful as each individual learns differently. I want to be a teacher because a teacher is someone who provides direction and communicates skills to ensure that one is able to understand new topics. Teachers enhance the lives of young children by using their teaching abilities to deliver useful information in engaging forms, which will serve a purpose throughout their students' lives. 'We know three things about intelligence. One, it's diverse'. Incorporating diversity into my teaching will make me different from other educators as my goal is not only to make children excited in education from when they are young but to also create a classroom environment that encompasses all styles of learning. My goal is not only to make students excited about education from when they are young, but to also create a classroom environment that encompasses all styles of learning. Being an educator, to me, means that you are someone who wants to see children not only be successful in the classroom but also in their future.

My grandmother and my mother were both teachers who inspired me to pursue teaching as a career. They have always encouraged me to attempt anything I did not believe I could achieve. The main reason I chose to do community service at a primary school was because I wanted to get an insight into what teachers do and how they do it.

Why Here?

Within why I want to become a teacher essay I will share where I am going to study. I think that doing my diploma in Education at Michigan State University would be a great pathway to becoming a teacher. Teaching has been an interest of mine since I volunteered at my local primary school in year 10 for community service. I had a wonderful experience volunteering and enjoyed helping students understand things that they did not know as well as help students to become engaged in subjects they were not interested in, by finding things they were fascinated by and implementing them in the classroom.

Why Now?

To continue why do I want to be a teacher essay, I am about to finish my Certificate IV in Education Support and I want to continue learning about how I can help students reach their full potential. So far, this course has only made me want to become a teacher even more. It has helped me to understand the ways in which I can assist children with learning disabilities to learn and interpret the content better. In addition to this, I volunteer once a week at a Montessori center. The Montessori school has a very individualised approach to learning and consists of creative implementation of teaching material and the creation of forward-thinking planning and classroom management. 

Conclusion

To end up why do you want to be a teacher essay, I believe that doing this diploma will only develop my knowledge of teaching because I would like to continue working towards my goal of becoming a primary school teacher. A teacher can have a significant impact on their students, not only academically but also with reinforcing their student's self-esteem.
