Finding My Melody

As a musician, I have always been drawn to the sound of the piano. It is an instrument that can convey a wide range of emotions and has the power to move people to tears or to make them dance. I have always admired pianists who can play with such skill and emotion, and it was a close family friend who inspired me to pursue a career in piano performance.

Watching my friend play the piano was like watching a master at work. He had a natural talent for the instrument, and his passion for music was evident in every note he played. He inspired me to take up the piano, and I soon found that I had a talent for it as well.

As I continued to learn and grow as a pianist, I discovered that there was so much more to music than just playing the notes on a page. Music is a language, and it has the power to connect people from all walks of life. I became passionate about sharing my love of music with others, and I knew that I wanted to pursue a career in piano performance so that I could continue to inspire and connect with people through music.

As I began to research colleges and universities that offered music programs, I knew that Lehigh University was the perfect fit for me. In addition to pursuing a career in piano performance, I am also committed to academic excellence. I am proud to have achieved a high level of academic success in high school, and I am eager to continue my studies at Lehigh University.
