Pursuing Master Studies in Informatics at Northeastern University

I take immense pleasure in illuminating you with my intent to join Northeastern University, for pursuing Master of Professional Studies in Informatics. Of all the countries in the world, United States has proven to be the paramount country in scientific advancements and the heart of computing universe. I was aware that some top colleges do not require supplementary essay, so I thought 'Does northeastern have supplemental essays?' and here what I found: 'All applicants are required to write two supplemental essays', so here is the first one. 

I believe Masters Study with an objective of obtaining a master degree would give me an ideal opportunity to probe and unravel the intricacies of my interested field and achieve my goals with greater amount of freedom. I firmly believe that my visions can take a more concrete shape only through an intensive Masters program. Moreover, it is only during Masters of Professional Studies in Informatics that I will be able to get adequate opportunities to test the validity and the practicality of my ideas. Masters study in U.S.A is known for its spirit of innovation, which sets global standards of excellence which is the reason that has driven me in selecting U.S.A as the destination for my Masters studies.

I aspire to study the Master of Professional Studies in Informatics at the Northeastern University because it is amongst the most highly rated postgraduate programs offered in United States. Additionally, one of my senior recommended that I study here. I have complete faith in my senior recommendation and I hope I will get a chance to study my dream course at Northeastern University.

While my under graduation, I took Electronics and communication as my major but while my undergraduate studies I got interest in subjects (Database management, Mobile and wireless networks, Network system). Then I decided to take Informatics as my major for higher studies.

In addition to the undergraduate courses studied, I have been an active participator in extracurricular activities so as to pursue new experiences and broaden my horizons. For instance, I have participated in a Rubik’s cube solving competitions and coding contests. These not only honed my problem tackling skills, but also enhanced my analytical skills and strategies. months. This training included interactive lessons about various courses in information security and networking like OSI layer, protocol stack, network topologies.

Ever since my childhood, the world of computers and its technological growth has fascinated me. Since my own lifetime has essentially coincided with the rise of the modern computing industry, I feel that there are tremendous developments yet to leave its mark in this field. It was natural for me to opt for Informatics as my Graduate major. There are copious reasons for me to apply for Masters program in I have done training from Purple leap in the Informatics field for a period of two the Northeastern University. Not only has it proven to be one of the best university which would emphasize in getting students into internships and co-ops pertaining to their studies, but has also been accredited as one of the top ranked private universities in the world for Informatics. It has always been my aspiration to pursue higher education in a premium institute like Northeastern university.

I am disciplined, punctual and a perfectionist by nature. Having a desire for in depth knowledge in the field of Informatics, I strongly believe that my master’s degree will prove to be very helpful for me in determining a career of my choice. Also by getting a chance to study in Northeastern University, I will be able to make the best use of the world class facilities that it offers to its students. It will be a great privilege for me to work under their guidance. I have always been a very good performer in my areas of interest and I am very confident that by getting admission in your esteemed university I will be able to reach great heights in my career.
