As an adult, I think we all share a general understanding that we only want to do what is best for our children. I want to be a teacher because I want to be the catalyst who pushes my children to achieve their full potential. This is why I want to be a teacher essay where I will explaine my purpose. Being a teacher means that you not only have a huge amount of responsibility to teach in a manner that is easy to comprehend and exciting. Teachers can serve as positive role models to our children, as they hold huge responsibility through educating - these arguments you can notice in any of teacher essays. Teaching takes great patience, brilliant interpersonal skills, and resilience to address each unique situation and adapt to a variety of learning methods best suited to the individual, some of the few qualities which I believe I possess and am eager to learn.
My teaching philosophy that I strongly believe in is that “Every child deserves a champion- an adult who will never give up on them, who understands the power of connection, and insists that they become the best that they can possibly be”. I see a school as a safe place, where I can positively influence and prepare my children for the great big world. A child in some ways potentially spends more time with their teacher than their own parents. So why should I not aim to make them the best that they can be. I am prepared to have their best interests at heart as I prepare them to embark on their journey towards adulthood.
Within why I want to be a special education teacher essay I want to mention that I have a younger brother, who is on the spectrum, his own school experiences, have helped me shape my views on education and its inclusiveness, due to his limitations, working alongside him has allowed me to adapt my teaching to better suit his learning. He has taught me a lot and has helped reiterate my love to someday pass on knowledge to a class of my own.
My own teachers in school also made a huge difference in my life, and I will always remember them for this. My teacher transformed my motivation and ability for maths; he stayed behind with me every lunchtime and tutored a small group of us, he was able to encourage us and help us regain our confidence. He had a natural ability to explain, what I found a difficult subject, in very simple terms. He went above and beyond, because he cared, and it made a huge difference. That is also what I want to do and what to emphasize in why you want to be a teacher essay. It's the small things in life that can leave a huge imprint on somebody's life. I want to be remembered for something good. I want to inspire a child's life.
After a few trials and tribulations, I went on to study BA Education Studies at University of Georgia. Drawing on a range of disciplines including sociology, psychology, philosophy, history, policy, and politics. Studying Primary Education at postgraduate interests me as I strongly believe that education is a human right that every child should be entitled to, with it children are able to develop, and I would like to have the opportunity to inject this into children's lives. I am very athletic, bilingual, enthusiastic, and resilient, which I believe to be essential attributes to bring to a classroom. To end up essay on why I want to be a teacher, studying at University of Georgia will grant me my qualification to teach at Primary level, thus providing me with new skills to be able to teach at a high standard.
