I entered EVSU undecided upon a major though I have something that I love to take. When I say love, therein lies my true strength, in which I think I will do my best and can accomplish much. So this is why did you choose this course essay where I will share my experience. During my sophomore year in Highschool, I had always wanted a nursing major because I think it's cool to wear white uniform. My eyes always shines whenever I saw nurses pass by in their beautiful uniforms that suits them.
However, everything changes when I graduated my sophomore year. My family suffered financial issues so I cannot pursue nursing since it's quit pricey and as the eldest daughter I have to consider what's best for my family. I was initially torn between my first love and 'the best option' major which would appease my situation, that was the only example of college. Here comes the day when I entered Seinor Highschool, I enrolled in pre-business course since all my friends are also into it. I was unhappy and dreaded looking ahead at the difficult and frankly uninteresting numbers and transactions of accountancy and business management strand. After graduating, I'm left standing at a cross-road.
Fastforward when I entered I college, I really didn't have a specific course in my mind, besides the fact that it was when the pandemic started and online class became an option to continue the learning of students. The day before enrollment, I search for schools offering free tuition fee and scroll to their offered courses. I have to take a business related course in college to coincide with my chosen strand in Senior High school. And as it is a college course example, I really have to think carefully what road to choose because it will result to what kind of life I'll have in the next years. A road is often a sign of where we are headed in life and our current direction and path we are on. Indeed, I had taken a steep road, accountancy, which I do not feel the passion and interest at all.
To continue why did you choose this school essay sample, entering college, at least for me, was less a triumphant progress than an unceremonious reminder of just how much I had to learn in the next four years. I came to EVSU not passionate about accounting.
I had to learn topics against my will and interest. I was forced to break out of my old patterns and find new strategies in studying because my major classes are so hard and the pressure to pass adds up as it requires automatic elemination for grades below the given standard. While it was a trial by fire to survive my rigorous classes, financial and family struggles in life forced me to study deeply and get this degree.
Life really can be unfair sometimes. It doesn't always bring happiness and gives us all that we want. Right now, as a second year accountancy student, it is really hard for me to continue this. My future has been in my mind lately, I'm scared and afraid if all these struggles of being an ccountancy student is worth it. My teachers have shared their experiences before and after they became a licensed accountant and it's really scary. Eversince I was at a young age, I had always dreamed of having a phenomenal life. A phenomenal life in which each one of us aspire to live. The joy of travelling the world, helping my family financially, spoiling my parents and myself. Live a comfortable and happy life. Have a stable job, buy own house and the type that you don't have to worry what to eat the next day.
Looking back on these experiences leads me to realization that in choosing what road (course) to take in college, we should always consider the factor of love and passion. For us to enjoy the moments while learning. All the transitions and frustrations which marked my blurry two years have taken me in a new direction and mindset. To end up why did you choose this course essay sample, I decided to live my life in the present moment, enjoy, savor every experiences and stop worrying too much about the future. But that doesn't mean I'll live blissfully, neglecting my future. I will still plan for the future by setting goals. I'll do my part and I believe God will do the rest.
