Why I Deserve a Financial Need Scholarship for Students

I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing this Financial Need Scholarship essay to apply to study at your university. I am thrilled to have the opportunity to share my story and explain why I believe I am a deserving candidate for this scholarship. My education will benefit me by accomplishing my goal of becoming a veterinary technician. It will help me graduate and have career opportunities that have a good salary. 

As a first-generation college student, I have always been determined to pursue higher education despite facing various financial challenges. Growing up in a low-income household, my family has always prioritized basic necessities over saving for college. Although my parents have worked tirelessly to support our family, their income has never been sufficient to cover the costs associated with a college education.

The financial burden has made it incredibly challenging for me to fully pursue my academic aspirations. I have worked multiple part-time jobs throughout high school to help alleviate some of the financial strain. However, even with my efforts, the cost of tuition, textbooks, and living expenses remains a significant obstacle in realizing my dreams.

I’m going to learn knowledge by working on my education. For example, I consider volunteering as part of my education. Volunteering is helping me know what kind of work I will be having for the veterinary career I want. Picking this career will help me socialize better with people. I consider myself an outgoing person so I am certain this career is great for me. I will communicate with the people of my community to create a better atmosphere and educate them about the health issues their animal has. When speaking to them, people are going to feel more trustworthy towards any veterinary field. They will know this profession is to help animals in need and will do anything to help any animal that come to the animal hospital.

In the veterinary field, no one stops learning. It is like a lifetime of learning because the generation is always growing. Medicines won’t stay the same someday. They will keep producing and evolving over time. This indicates I will learn new things daily. I feel like the veterinary field should take advantage of the new treatments to provide the animals with the best care. My education will help my family by I, myself. When it comes to my family, I will be giving them any support they need. For instance, financial support. I am not a greedy person. No matter what problems my family faces, I will always be there to help them. Another reason how my family benefits from my education is by them not paying for my classes. FAFSA is part of my education. It will help me by giving me financial aid and helping me succeed. By having the opportunity to get help from financial aid, my parents will be benefited to save up money apart from my education.

On veterinary, helping the community is a big part of our society. My education will benefit my community by helping animals also making people happy. Both animals and people, veterinarians are heroes. This professional career helps animals feel better by giving them the right medicine or performing surgery. When veterinarians reduce an animal pain. They support the welfare. For the people, veterinarians form a comprehensible atmosphere by notifying them what exact treatments to give their animal in order to help them get better. The community is also affected by the food product’s veterinarians analyze. They reinforce animal food products to see if it is healthy for them. Help people by examining foodborne pathogens, an illness containing food contamination and search for an illness transmitted from animals to humans called zoonoses. The communities get many benefits when it comes to veterinarians. Today, numerous of dogs are being abandoned or sent in to an animal shelter because people cannot afford to keep them. This creates the increase of homeless pets. Veterinarians help this by spaying or neutering them. The community is being helped by vets by decreasing the amount of homeless animals.

Receiving this scholarship would not only alleviate the financial burden on me and my family but also enable me to focus wholeheartedly on my education and contribute to the betterment of society in the future.
