Why I Deserve this Scholarship: Achieving Career and Leadership Goals

I am an aspirant student who wants to be an enthusiastic teacher, equipped with required personal as well as professional skills and competencies. I need a help to advance in my career and leadership goals without any restrictions and this scholarship will be beneficial. Winning one of the scholarships is my aim as I have financial needs that I can't handle by myself. My father is a teacher, his earning is the only source of income. We live hand to mouth in a rented house and haven’t got any property called as our own.

As time is passing, so our educational expenses are. This is increasing my father’s responsibilities. Sometimes, he barely can manage the whole expenses and he has to get a loan. This as a daughter, makes me sad as getting Education should not be a burden rather it should be easily accessible. I have other siblings who are also studying. Elder brother is already studying Law, younger is studying Accounting and the youngest one also dreams about going to college. I would be so grateful if I could receive this scholarship because my family is in a tough financial situation now. If I will get this scholarship, I can continue my studies without any financial restrictions.

The reason behind becoming a teacher and joining Education as my career course is: I was always aspired to be a teacher because teachers have inspired me by bringing positive change in my life through their teaching and counselling. This is the reason, they are called as ‘change agents’.

And by pursuing a career in education, you benefit society as a whole. The impression you make on the individual in the classroom continues onto the next generation. This is a career where you have the opportunity to make a lasting difference to young students’ lives. Teachers shape the minds of their students, they influence, inspire and motivate them to achieve what they aspire to. Being a teacher, my students' growth and advancement have always been my topmost priority, I want to teach my students through innovative ways which can ensure their maximum learning. Deep inside I know that I’m going to succeed, and help many other people on the way. This is just a matter of time. I have great expectations for the future and this scholarship would help me to move forward with my dreams.

And, I want to play my part in changing the perspective of people about the current educational system going in our country to new and advanced educational methodologies where learning is no longer limited to four-walled classrooms rather it has got personalized: learners are learning at their own pace any time anywhere. While I may not be certain of my future, I know for sure that I want to serve. For this purpose, I will leave no stone to provide quality education to my village kids by establishing a school which can ensure to provide them quality education with applied new trends at the least possible cost.
