A Discussion on The Importance of Education for a Person

Education plays an important role in the life of an individual since it can be defined as a package containing the required skills required in the job market and also the values and manners that are expected from everyone in society. Education can occur mostly in the school where the young children learn the basics which are followed by more specific topics in the school. This essay will discuss the importance of education in today’s world.

In the job market, it is very obvious that the person with the highest qualification meeting the job requirements will be employed. Therefore, the underlying importance of education is that it ensures a stable job and a stable life. The more educated a person is, the more likely it is for him to increase his opportunity to get the job because he will be able to communicate well and will be able to integrate this new world.

Moreover, education is not always important only in the job market because an educated person is someone who knows the difference between right and wrong. Eventually, that person will be more open-minded and can better understand the society around him from different perspectives contrary to a less educated person who may encounter difficulty in seeing things from different perspectives. An educated person read, write and talk without much difficulty. And being literate is considered as a great quality in today’s world.

Also, it can be seen that an educated person has many privileges in society. People turn to them if they need help. Different people has been educated in different fields. For example, in most families, there are at least one teacher and one doctor. So these people have a lot of importance in society. People always need them even when they are not during their working hours. They do not go unnoticed in society.

Finally, it can be seen that society has a lot of opportunity to offer to an educated person. But even if an educated person cannot fulfil his dream, it is already a big achievement for that person to be able to read, write and speak in languages understood by people around him or her.
