A Reflection on The Movie Secret

Look good, feel good, do good! Live life with a positive mind. 

The movie made me realized that if a person has a positive outlook about a particular situation then it is more likely for them to have a positive experience. The secret talks also the law of attraction wherein we do not only become what we are in our thoughts but we also become those thoughts. What we think and do is what shaped us. The secret truthfully has been stated in many different ways and in many different cultures through out time. The power of thought is more than ideas, these thoughts, can become reality through the belief that ones thought can or do impact change in life. To most the idea of thought changing reality can only be seen by witnessing the action behind the thought. The movie is not suggesting that every thought that comes to mind can be manifested. It is simply suggesting that thoughts should be carefully watched because they hold the power of influence over the things that happen to a person. There is the underlying thought to every thing that a person does and there is also emotion. This is basically saying that reality starts in the thoughts of wants and don’t wants. The more one thinks about a bad situation the more that situation is apparent. Like for example in my teaching experience, the more I tolerated the stress the more I suffered. 

This is one of my experience, I went to school with a negative mindset such that I have a lot of “what ifs” in my mind. I doubted my skills and capabilities. The more I thought about things to do, I felt nervous. This was the time when I had to face and talk to my principal about my status in school because I wasn’t permanent teacher then. I felt so nervous. What if he doesn’t like me as one of his teachers? What if I failed to answer his questions with a very fluent and meaningful words? What if I disappoint him? And more what ifs. I was also thinking then lot negative consequences. However, when he started to talk and began to ask, it’s like I was enlightened and felt easy. He was kind and very practical. The way I thought about him and the things that he will possible do unto me was never happened. He was such a good boss. I was able to finish and talk to him with a smile on my face at the end. I pressured and stressed myself. My negative minds actually affect my day. Though God is always good to me. No matter how I was rattled and pressured then I was able to face my boss successfully. This is how I relate the movie in my real-life experiences. I should always think positive so my life will be filled with positivity. 

For me, the more a person focuses on having a positive outlook, they would be able to live a better life. My understanding about the law of attraction will open us the door of opportunity for personal change and open-mindedness. The way the movie also explain it is that if someone is in a good mood and they do not allow an outside force to change then they will remain positive state of mind. I have also noticed that when I am happy with my environment, I find many people who respond ack with the same positive outlook and happiness. 

We become what we think wherein we think it predicts our future. The more you think, the more it will happen because the universe is reacting to what you want which means that it attracts what you think. Also, mind shaping what it being perceive it is always your choice at the end. There are different secrets that I’ve learned in the movie, the secret to wealth, the secret to relationship, the secret to health, the secret to world and of course the secret to life.

I must think positively every day and began to feel new experiences I never had. What I focus in my life is what I want in my life like for example, how kind of people I let in, in myself or even the job I eagerly wanted to have, a healthy living, a wealthier year or any kind of circumstances in my daily life. I must choose joy, choose to live happy and think of happy thoughts. the movie made me realize also to work with a secret. Choose the right path that I will take. I am the creator of my own life depending to what I think. 

To end my reflection, let me highlight this, don’t regret anything because you did that for a reason whether you know or not. If you follow your bliss you live in a constant joy, which you have to fell good and sustain what you have. Appreciate everything and live positive!
