Introduction:

How would you like to do the right thing, then be seen as a bad person who has done the wrong thing? How would you feel? Wouldn’t you feel portrayed? Do you think this is right? Well this is exactly what is happened to Julian Assange, and I’m here to talk to you today about how the media manipulates the way Julian Assange is seen, Julian Assange is an Australian computer programmer, journalist, and he founded WikiLeaks, for those of you who don’t know what WikiLeaks is, it is a website that reveals governments and powerful corporation’s secrets and information. So, here’s a few questions, what happens when a courageous man with strong ideals deicide to actively fight for them instead of simply raving about them from the safety of his armchair? What happens when his actions start to clash with the interest of the most powerful governments and political corporations? (change slide to argument 1)

'Why Violent Video Games Shouldn't Be Banned'?

Argument 1: What happens when governments security agencies and police bodies feel threatened by the truths that that the man is exposing about their inner behavior, causing growing fractures in their system of lies and manipulation? The governments and media are afraid of Julian Assange, because he reveals the truth and he fights for people justice, so therefore they portray him as a horrible person. Julian Assange has revealed many secrets that the government has hidden, for example A surveillance shelter in Afghan got Bombed and 400 people died, women and children, and it was meant to be a protected shelter. Julian Assange hacked the U.S military system to find out the truth, he found evidence proving that the bombing was no accident and they murdered them. (Show video) (CHANGE SLIDE) (04:19 START, 06: 31 FINISH) Julian Assange showed the world that our governments were concealing the truth. The US gov have the biggest grand jury set in record too destroy him, 9000 words and counting. The governments and media are pursuing Assange because WikiLeaks exposed their epic crimes in Afghanistan and Iraq, the wholesale killing of tens of thousands of civilians, which they covered up, with power and authority and international law, as demonstrated in their leaked diplomatic cables and war logs. Julian Assange is a hero. He has exposed corruption in his unwavering bid for truth, and at great personal cost, the media manipulates Julian Assange to be seen as a bad person, purely because Julian exposes their secrets. (change to sex allegations)

Argument 2: (change to argument 2) The sex allegations made against Julian Assange are simply just a smokescreen behind a number of governments that are trying to clamp down on Julian Assange and WikiLeaks for having revealed to the public their secret planning of wars and occupations with their, murder and destruction, simply because they feel threatened by the truth he is revealing, the Swedish case against Julian Assange is One of the grossest, most outrageous and most disgusting disasters of justice ever carried out in recent times, a full-blown abuse of a man’s human and legal rights. The first sign of this process put in place came on august 2010, when the US encouraged its allied to open a criminal case against Assange and to prevent his freedom of movement. Exactly ten days later, on 20 august 2010, two Swedish women entered a police station seeking advice on how to compel Assange to submit to a sti test, having previously had unprotected but consensual sex with him. When they left, a few hours after they had become the ‘plaintiffs’ in nothing less than a rape case. In her SMS texts, one of the two complainants even stated the she did “not want to to accuse him of anything” and “she felt railroaded by the police”, hence she refused to sign the statement. But all these oddities didn’t matter to anyone when the name of Julian Assange was leaked to press, precisely to Swedish tabloid expressen (which is there media newspaper company) which violated his legal rights to privacy as well as Swedish law by breaking a sensationalist story headlined “WikiLeaks founder hunted for rape in Stockholm” No foreign mainstream media looked at the fact that the allegations had just been made and that Assange was nothing than a suspect, not even interviewed yet. When the picked up the news, provoking a worldwide chain reaction that set off the infamous trial-by-media. It aimed to destroy the presumption of innocence, influence the public and ‘tarnish’ Assange’s reputation once and for all. Julian Assange has made it clear he is available for questioning by the Swedish authorities about the sex allegations, in Britain or via Skype, but yet the authorities haven’t, why are they refusing this essential step in their investigation? What are they afraid of?

Argument 3: (change to argument 3) There is so clear evidence or ‘allegations’ against Julian Assange, charging people with sex crimes is the no one tool to defame people. Stockholm’s chief prosecutor Eva Finne decided to close the “rape” case, declaring that “there is no suspicion of any crime whatsoever”, and she cleared him of all accusations, Assange was summoned to a police station in Stockholm, answered all the questions and was freed, but the damage was done, this coordinated smearing campaign has never stopped since. It has simply shifted to a long-term scandal, with misleading words such as “charges”, instead of “allegations”, almost everywhere, this isn’t only a terrible unfairness against the editor-in-chief of WikiLeaks, this Is also one of the filthiest methods to manipulate facts and make them fit to a ‘government agenda’. It’s is a perfect symbol of our world, where the courts of law systems are ideally designed to ensure and protect the equal justice of all, are being used into state tools to punish, crush and silence those who dare to challenge political establishment. The number of tiny, hidden doubtful details in this case is too much, the agencies and political justice system, won’t tell us about them, and they won’t tell us the truth ever, because they would suddenly find themselves exposed if they did, without the cosy protection of uncertainty. They would be obliged to be held to account, to provide explanations and justifications, for the Assange case. There is no doubt that what they are doing to Julian Assange is wrong, in the end this is the reason why the ‘rape’ case is still ongoing. There is no proper evidence against Julian Assange and the case is just a system of lies and manipulation, abusing his legal and human rights.

Conclusion: (CHANGE TO PICTURE)

Without any hesitation of fear, or any dirty compromise or corruption, WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange revealed what others were even too afraid to think, they published documents, that clarified the underpinnings of this world. The sex allegations made against Julian Assange are simply just a smokescreen behind a number of governments that are trying to clamp down on Julian Assange and There is so clear evidence or ‘allegations’ against Julian Assange, and the case set up to defame him, Julian Assange is a hero of free speech, and a speaker of truth to power. And the media portray him as a bad person, because they feel threatened by the truth he is revealing and the media manipulate him to be seen as a bad person.
