From the late twentieth century, animation has always inspired many young children and adults. Today, many animation related fields such as film and gaming have evolved throughout the century. Many popular animations created by Disney, such as Frozen and Zootopia have clearly inspired many across the world. Frozen is an animated film released by Walt Disney Animation Studios, and is a film mainly about Elsa, the main character, finding the solution to her despair and problems through experience. Throughout the film, Elsa’s sister, Anna tries to find Elsa, and falls in love with Prince Hans. Elsa and Anna reunited in the end, and Elsa finally overcomes her fear of her supernatural powers, and happily live after. Zootopia is another animated film released by Walt Disney Animation Studios, and is an animated movie that came out in March of 2016.

The main plot of the story is how the first bunny cop, Judy Hopps is on a mission to find 14 missing predators and only has 48 hours to solve the mysterious case. Hopps is accompanied by the sly fox, Nick Wilde. Judy Hopps find out that the fourteen missing predators have gone savage, although savagery was eliminated through evolution thousands of years ago. Judy finds out that Mayor Bellweather, the mayor for the city of Zootopia, is trying to blame the predators for all savagery, and tries to make the prey overcome the fear of the predators. But, Hopps solves the case with her assistant, and becomes the first bunny police offer to gain fame and save the city of Zootopia. The audience of both these animated films are for everyone, regardless of age. These two movies have inspired many children and adults around the world, and also inspired me. Some principles that these animated films use are exaggeration and visual appeal of characters. Both animated films have distinct characteristics of individual characters that visually appeal to the audience. Both animated films have a background to the main protagonist characters, and this gives more appeal to the viewers. Also, when any action, major or minor, exists, there is always exaggeration. Exaggeration better forms the overall animation, because it lets the viewers realize the importance of each action.

Animation is very important in the twenty-first century, because it has evolved very rapidly, in a short amount of time. 3D technology and gaming have both evolved, and is co-existent with one another. Many games that are released by major companies have animation and 3D technology that appeal to its users. A good example of the co-evolution of these two genres are video games. Many video games in modern days have 3D graphics that were non-existent in the twentieth century, and also have high animated content. These animated content are visually appealing to the viewers, because it helps the evaluation of battle scenes and helps deliver the storyline of the game furthermore. I am very excited about the evolution of gaming, because the technology and animation behind gaming is evolving daily. I believe that the principles of animation help with the evolution of both 3D technology and gaming, and will further inspire many people around the world.
