Hurricane Katrina was one of the most tragic natural disasters in American history. In this regard, it is important to emphasize the fact that the actions of people involved in disaster prevention and management and other social groups are quite different. Indeed, Hurricane Katrina has brought tremendous destruction to New Orleans, which has become a scene of great tragedy in American history. The entire state is susceptible to disaster, but New Orleans was most influenced by disaster. The population of New Orleans has been evacuated, but many people have been left in the city, mostly in poverty-stricken neighborhoods. It was desperate because many people became homeless after the disaster and local and federal authorities could not effectively manage the effects of the disaster. In this way, numerous casualties and negative impacts of Hurricane Katrina can be prevented, provided that effective disaster management and minimization of the adverse effects of disasters on New Orleans occur.

At the same time, it is important to emphasize the different behavior of different groups in relation to the victims of natural disasters in New Orleans. In this regard, it is possible to take positive action with the help of rescue workers and specialists engaged in emergency services. For example, troops, firefighters, police officers, and health professionals did their best to provide Hurricane Katrina victims with first aid and essential support to resolve the disaster victims' lives and property (Drye, 2005). In this regard, it is possible to mention positive behaviors of health care professionals who provided medical care to disaster victims. Many medical professionals also volunteered to help homeless and homeless after a disaster. Medical professionals have organized supplies of medicines and medical supplies in disaster areas. It was very important to supply medicines to the victims of the disaster and to provide first aid.

On the other hand, provincial and federal agencies have proven that they can not effectively manage disasters. In contrast, state and federal actions were anti-social. In fact, much of the New Orleans population remained separate from the evacuation plan, but after the disaster did not provide permanent accommodation for those who became homeless after the disaster (Bourne, 2004). In this regard, the failure of the authorities was a result of the existing sociocultural norms and social strata of society. People living in poverty-stricken areas have been in the most important position in American society, suffering from exclusively suffering and no help before the disaster. As a result, anti-social behavior was the result of a wider social divide that continued in American society. On the other hand, medical professionals performed their jobs properly and acted according to professional ethics
