An Open Letter to My Mom: Thank You for Being My Saint

To my Mother,

Much obliged to you.

Much obliged to you for being there for me for every one of the practices, rivalries, and field trips. You have been my greatest fan through each and every phase of my life and I couldn't request a superior team promoter. Much obliged to you for knowing when I wasn't right and punishing me when I was being a rascal. I might not have preferred it at that point, but rather thinking back, I know I'm in an ideal situation. Much obliged to you for holding me while I cried and promising me that tomorrow would be a superior day. You've been my stone through breakups, life choices, and new sections. You've brought me through when I was persuaded I couldn't go on. Much obliged to you for (subtly) turning into my absolute best companion, being my first (and day by day) telephone call, and being my greatest (and most minding) comrade. You answer your telephone with a similar excitement without fail, regardless of whether it's my first or the fifth call of the day. I am forever appreciative.
