Babe Ruth was a outfielder he had a of nicknames. His nicknames were the Great Bambino,The Sultan Sweet, And The big bam. Babe Thereafter, George Herman Ruth Jr. was known as the Babe. The Babe performed well for Dunn and the Orioles, leading to the sale of Babe to the Boston Red Sox by Dunn. While Babe ruth is most known for his prodigious power as a slugger, he started his career as a pitcher, and a very good one at that.Background- Babe Ruth was born on february 6, 1895. He was born in Pigtown Baltimore. He died on August 16, 1948. He died in Manhattan New York City.

Babe Ruth went to Cardinal Gibbons School. When Babe Ruth was just a kid he lived in a brick row house. In 1946 Babe Ruth got diagnosed with throat cancer. His full name is George Herman Jr. His height was 6’2 and he weight 215 lbs.Achievements- George Herman Ruth, known to the world as Babe Ruth. Was the first sports superstar. He might have become baseball’s greatest left-handed pitcher. Instead, he moved to the outfield and became its greatest hitter. Ruth hated the regimented discipline of the school, but he learned the game of baseball.

Babe Ruth had a lasting impact on major league baseball. He dominated the majors in home runs, a record few have since surpassed. He was the first player to hit 60 home runs in a season and ended his career with 714 home runs. Ruth also pitched in 163 games, with a record of 94-46.Relate to me-Ruth established many MLB batting and some pitching records. Including career home runs 714, runs batted in RBI’s. 2,213 bases on balls 2,062, slugging percentage .690, and on-base plus slugging OPS 1.164. The latter two still stand today. He was the king of Strikeouts. How his accomplishments relate to me is because i strike out a lot.
