Why JBU why now? JBU is an outstanding University. I know several people who have completed their education with JBU both traditionally and in the online degree completion program. It is now time to face the truth about college education, and the truth is this. A college education better prepares you for the future and opens doors that you would not otherwise have. College may be expensive, especially with respect to time, but the only thing more expensive than a college education, is simply not having one at all.
Time is something most of us wish we had more of. I am one of those people. I do find comfort in knowing that through time management and the support system that I have from my family and friends that time is something that can be created, at least figuratively. I believe the key to successfully achieving a college education remains in my support system and how I effectively manage time. I am a husband to a great wife and a dad to a wonderful daughter. I own and operate a local business here in Northwest Arkansas. Managing my time has become a major aspect in my life. Thus far I have excelled in balancing time between work and family. Now that I have created a sustainable routine, I can make the adjustment to dedicate the time necessary to completing my college education. Reflecting on my past years of college experience and attempts at finishing, I find that time management was not something I retained as a younger individual and my support system was not what it is today.
In my relatively short life, my single and only regret is not completing my college education. Throughout all of my accomplishments and disappointments, I have always been especially proud of my conviction and devotion I carry for my personal beliefs and values. I believe everyone has a purpose. I also believe that a purpose comes with its own set of challenges. However, the place in my life I am at now assures me that I can be successful and that my education is within reach. My plan is to work and coordinate with admissions and recruiting as well as instructors to complete the necessary course work in a timely manner and address any and all circumstances and issues that may arise. I look forward to attending JBU and completing my degree, I know it will be an exciting time full of knowledge and experience.
