There are hundreds of different bots, developed for a variety of reasons, they range from hardwired programs with simply coded patterns to systems build upon embedded learning algorithms that continuously expand their language knowledge base. Bots are created purely for fun or as a part of interactive games, internet information services; websites guides e-commerce agents or more. Traditional technologies just used to respond to queries fired by the user by retrieving the answers from their databases but we need to develop a system which would interact with the user in an interactive manner as any other human will interact. Also if the response to the query fired by the user is not present in the database of the system then the system should respond to the user’s query using internet.

Chatbots typically provide a text-based user interface, allowing the user to type commands and receive text response as well as speech response. Chatbots are usually a stateful services, remembering previous commands (and perhaps even conversation) in order to provide functionality. When chatbot technology is integrated with popular web services it can be utilized securely by an even larger audience. Chatbots are simple to use, It usually introduces itself and we respond with a statement or question. The bot consults its knowledge base or programming languages and replies. The conversation continues as long as it is interesting or useful for human.

This system is for college purpose and will respond to user query in an interactive manner. It will be having an ability to react according to the user emotions like if the user is sad then it will respond in a happy manner using happy type emoji’s and messages. There will be an integration of the concepts of learning and emotions to a chatbot system incorporating spoken language system to address some of the inefficiencies found in these. This concept is important according to our vision, because the main goal of a chatbot should be to mimic real human conversation. More or less, we visualize this character as a personalization of someone who has some knowledge about something but is constantly learning everything that is said to it. This chatbot is having a simple user interface which responds to basic queries of users.

There is no login require for using the chatbot to access the information. So there won’t be any Registration and Login page for user since it is very boring procedure but there will be an admin login page through which an admin can put new queries and their answers in the database. A good database with queries and answers related to college as well as with some keywords tables will be created. Also there will be an addition of emoji’s section in this chatbot through which it could easily respond to the queries according to the user emotions.
