In indication of the teens and children playing video games amongst us in today’s generation have become more violent and disturbing regarding the children and teens that do not play video games. The violence and bullying rate in school has sky rocketed over the last couple years and most of the cause may possibly be because of the games. Video games are there for the fun and entertainment for everyone that’s interested to enjoy not causing violence and go shooting someone walking down the street or go stop a car, kick the person out, and take their car as taught in Grand Theft Auto. Most people don’t do silly things like that in the real world, well you see I said most because some people who are crazy enough to let the game control how they live there life. They have no self-control and most likely no self-esteem. Video Games can be a huge change on some people’s lives depending on how you let it affect you.

I have seen and had experiences with my younger brother. He who will be in 9th grade next year let video games effect his lifestyle for about 2 years tops. He had been playing video games for a while and we seen more and more change in him every day he started to become more angry and violent, he started to take it out on me and my grandparents, he also started getting in trouble at school and home. So then we decided to take him to counseling and he did anger management classes once a month at the age of 11, all because of his huge attitude change due to the violence in video games in my perspective I think that’s what caused it all but I may be wrong. Either way he has stopped playing video games and not in counseling anymore and he is a way better person.

Video games may be fun but my also not be safe for your brain or body. There are many types of different gamers and they all affect everyone differently. People who sit around and play games for day’s hours at a time are most likely to gain weight because you just sit there and eat and not move around, that’s not good for your body. If you are the type of gamer that likes to stay up all night hours at a time playing the game is also not good because everyone needs sleep. There is also the other kind of gamer that likes to stay up for hours and maybe even days playing the game and drinking energy drinks, my opinion that is the worst kind of gamer because no sleep is one thing and that’s bad to but energy drinks have a high risk of heart attack and rise of blood pressure.

Young children are more likely to confuse fantasy violence with real world violence, and without a framework for ethical decision making, they may mimic the actions they see in violent video games. Violent video games cause players to associate pleasure and happiness with the ability to cause pain in others. Some people don’t know the difference from real world and virtual world because they have been sitting in front of that television for so long. Violent video games require active participation, repetition, and identification with the violent character. With new game controllers allowing more physical interaction, the immersive and interactive characteristics of video games can increase the likelihood of youth violence. The games will change you and make you a whole different person you would have never thought you would be. You may not realize the change but everyone around you will.

There are hidden messages in all video games whether you realize it or not. Most people will not notice or realize the hidden messages because they are subliminal it’s made for you to not notice but you see and hear it and it stays in the back of your head in that 65 or 70 percent of our brain that we may not use. Most people do not know this and probably won’t ever find out about these subliminal messages because there made to be kept secret it takes a lot of time and research to know and find out about the secrets the government hide within hour everyday lives and everything we do. Playing these video games you are being hypnotized and being brain washed every day. Subliminals are taking new shape in the digital age. The relative ease with which messages can be inserted into computer codes, combined with the increasing hours people are spending in front of computer screens, lead some psychologists and media experts to believe that the potential for mind control voluntary or involuntary is greater in the new media than in any that came before. The government is controlling us all one day at a time and playing video games is the easiest ways for them to brain wash you.
