We’ve all been complacent, but no more. Complacency is the cancer of our society. Complacency is the killer of dreams, success, and even failure. Complacency is the emergency brake of life. When we are complacent we limit ourselves to the bare minimum. “Benjamin E. Mays writes that “The tragedy of life is often not in our failure, but rather in our complacency; not in our doing too much, but rather in our doing too little; not in our living above our ability, but rather in our living below our capacities.” Complacency is the silent killer of humanity, and the ultimate killer of all dreams.

The honorable Napoleon Bonaparte states that “ the greatest danger occurs at the moment of victory.” In the wake of accomplishing that goal, he should then promptly supplant it with another beneficial goal. Else, he’ll begin floating with no heading and the state of mind of “I did it. Presently what?” begins to shape and he winds up like a ship lost adrift. Obviously, there ought to be an opportunity to unwind and appreciate the products of your triumph, yet not for a long time. It’s difficult to get up when you reveal to yourself you’ll rest for only two or three minutes would it say it isn’t? I’ve done that as well and seen, three hours fly by. When you stay in a place extremely long, it becomes comfortable and after that it needs more vitality to escape that place and, in that lies, the plain very much camouflaged and trapped lack of concern.

On the off chance that you find that the days are winding up increasingly indistinguishable, you’re not the only one. Routine is unavoidable, and individuals incline toward it like moths to the fire and once you settle down into the day by day routine of things, you wind up in a cycle that has potential negative reactions, particularly on the planet we live in today. Change is very a given these days. There is no such thing as employer stability the economy is capricious, anything can occur at any given time; however the one thing that remains consistent is that the individuals who manage change all the time rather than the individuals who don’t, will doubtlessly have the capacity to manage that change more adequately.

Lack of concern tends to halt any potential for change from developing in any way and therefore when change happens, it’s a major stun to your framework. Moreover, smugness tends to cultivate self-satisfied exercises, for example, staring at the TV or playing computer games when that time can be spent developing, regardless of whether it be from perusing books, tuning in to tapes, or working out. The open-door costs are extraordinary when carelessness enters our lives since it’s the path of least resistance. It’s the way as a matter of course.

I say DBD. – dependably be developing. There is SO much out there to learn and encounter. We live in a time where we have data readily available. We have the way to movement, to try new things, but, a drape has been pulled over our eyes and we just view life through the limited view that lack of concern tends to give us.

Expert Review
The essay effectively argues that complacency is a significant problem in society, limiting our potential for success and growth. The author uses quotes from Napoleon Bonaparte and Benjamin E. Mays to support their argument, and presents examples of how complacency can lead to negative consequences. However, the essay could benefit from a clearer structure and more varied sentence structure, as some sentences are repetitive or awkwardly phrased. Additionally, some of the author's points could be expanded upon to provide more depth to their argument.

What can be improved
While the essay successfully argues that complacency is a major problem in society, there are several areas where it could be improved. For instance, the structure of the essay could be clearer, as it jumps between different examples without a clear sense of organization. Additionally, the author uses several quotes to support their argument, but they could provide more analysis of these quotes to show how they relate to their overall argument. In terms of sentence structure, the essay could benefit from more varied phrasing, as some sentences are repetitive or awkwardly phrased. For example, the author frequently uses the phrase "the killer of" to describe the negative effects of complacency, which becomes repetitive. The essay could also benefit from more use of active voice, as some sentences are written in a passive voice that makes them less engaging. Overall, the essay provides a good argument for why complacency is a problem, but could be improved with a clearer structure, more analysis of quotes, and more varied sentence structure. With these changes, the essay could provide a more engaging and persuasive argument.
