Elon Musk - a Person I Aspire to Be

In today’s generation, one person from high culture that I strongly believe should be pedestalize is Elon Musk. Elon Musk is an engineer and technology entrepreneur, who has changed the game of technology in the present. Hence why I strongly believe Musk should be written in history books to be remembered even a hundred years from now. There are many reasons why Musk should be pedestalize which includes his innovative thinking, diligence, and optimism. 

Diligence in modern society is one the many distinct factors why there are so many people in high culture society today. Musk is the very example of this, ever since he was young it was shown Musk has always had innovative thinking starting with his interest in computers. A key example of how he has shown this trait would be how he taught himself how to program computers as an adolescent. Another example is as a child he has gone through severe bullying by others, and to recuperate takes a lot of hard work emotionally. Which I commemorate Musk, because even though we went through this rough patch he continued his education. As it is known after high school, Musk attended university where he would receive his bachelors and later a PhD. I believe Musk has worked really hard to acquire what he has today, which corresponds to the reason why I respect Elon Musk for who he is. 

Musk not only works for himself, but he helps to work to make a change in society on a global impact. This can be shown through his innovative thinking, Musk is the founder of SpaceX and cofounder of the companies PayPal, Tesla, Inc and many more. Specifically one of the companies I want to take a look at is Tesla, Inc as these two companies are currently the prime examples of his innovation. Tesla, which is an automotive company, has become very successful in the past couple years through Musk’s idea of an electric car. Tesla wouldn’t be what it is today, if it wasn’t for Musk. He has used his creativity to figure out how to make a car run electrically and not on gasoline. His creation of electric cars has made a slight impact on our global environment, taking a step to help reduce carbon emissions. Another company in which I want to tackle is SolarCity, a sub company under Tesla is another example of Musk’s innovation, on how we can keep modernizing and improving our society. “We have to have sustainable electricity production as well as consumption, so I’m quite confident that the primary means of power generation will be solar.” Musk who is the current chairman of the company talks about  in the future primary power will be from solar energy, showing his optimistic views of the future. In which he is taking the first steps to help achieve this goal by explaining how solar power will really change the future. This is one of the many reasons why I idolize Elon Musk, he is trying to create new ways of how we can have sustainable electricity, so we cut back on relying on fossil fuels. Elon Musk is a person in my opinion I believe who should be pedestalize because of his innovative thinking, and diligence. 

Elon Musk has always been one of the very few people I actually highly respect in the world especially in today’s society because not that many people truly are as creative as him. What Elon is trying to do for us now in the present, and setting up many ideas to come for future generations ought to be remembered 50 to maybe even a 100 years from now. His contribution in today’s society has made me realise for myself that I also want to be able to help set a stepping stone for future generations, regardless of what route I will end upon.
