According to this article psychology can be said to be the study of mind and behavior in the way of thinking, imaging and feeling. Thinking can be said as the action of one using hi/her mind to get thoughts. After the thinking one is able to have images of objects in their mind which can enable one to control their body. Feeling is a state of showing emotions from your thinking. The general conditions of feeling have stipulated that imaging and affect can go together as one may cause the other while feeling and thinking oppose to that.

Some people appear not to have affect or have very little due adaptation or purposive behavior that happens immediately and successfully when a situation happens. Also affect can appear when the object is faded or not definite. Affect can arise from the conflict of tendencies to respond from hindrance if it is blocked either another one or others. In a case of typical mood affect happening is where a disappointment occurs. It arises when any tendency is hindered by circumstances though no violent affect. Also affect can arise from imperfect discrimination due to the obstruction of tendency response because the object in place is not clear or indefinite. Imperfect discrimination has no psychological importance apart from the activity or tendency that is functioning for example a case of someone discriminating something in details when he/she see it it’s not so imperfect, this is because it contains details which he or she couldn’t see. It is however had to say that facilitation of a single tendency can cause affect. As a result of that it is not correct to conclude affect is a way in which it is not clear, bad discriminated, repressed or fragmentally objet is known. Rarely is the time when feeling is addressed as a kind of natural appendage of a particular cognitive material.

According to diffusion of affect the object in place got a quality or affect accompaniment where not much is said. Though it is certain that no feeling is quickened to specific material. On a psychological level there is hardly any tendency reaction shown which is not involved in cognitive functions processes. How feelings occur is possible to say that some discrimination of some details of an occasion happened. In another affect called transference there is a characteristic of feeling which is marked by ease of moving it from one context to the other. In Thomas Hardy’s novel known as Desperate Remedies Cytherea gets impression that his dad is dead after seeing him fall. She sees his father been carried out from a strange vehicle by her brother and an older man.

What had happened reappears on her mind instantly after seen them enter the door. A feeling is diffused if it properly arises in a situation over the cognitive content giving the situation a definition. Affect have functions considered which are: displeasing or depressing feelings are directly in conflict with reacting of tendencies. Every pleasing tendency are directly in expression of tendencies or continuing operation together to get some new reaction. Also feeling transferrable ready from where it arises to other situations in connection. Feelings also can be diffused to some discriminated cognitive contents attributed when a situation arise. The start of a new cognitive reaction is when the tendency of image to arise and the normal reaction is hindered. The method of solving a conflict using an image shows a new mental development. There is also a class of pleasurable affects which can be considered as inherent affects. Images and thoughts go hand in hand with pleasure affects in which they directed forward. They show what will be and also they intermingle.
