Introduction

It is a well-known fact that exercising dramatically affects individuals' lives. People that start exercising feel better about their bodies and minds, which makes them greatly happier and healthier. According to the American Heart Association (2019), people should aim for at least 90 to 150 minutes of aerobic and/or dynamic resistance exercises per week. Even though exercising daily could be hard, its impact on individuals' psychological, physical, and social well-being is excellent and could incite a more happy and joyful life.

Psychological Benefits of Exercising

Exercising is an excellent form of tension treatment. It calms strain and stress by focusing on the beat of your breathing, or the breeze on your skin. That way you are truly concentrating on your body and how it feels. As you work out, you will enhance your physical condition quicker, as well as have the capacity to interrupt the stream of constant stresses going through your mind. Additionally, exercising is a great source of endorphins, which are chemicals produced by the body to relieve stress and pain and can also create a "high" that is safe, without the danger of addiction and overdose (Smith & Doe, 2020). This natural boost in mood can lead to improved mental health and a more positive outlook on life.

Physical Health Benefits of Exercising

The physical effect of exercising is very much apparent as it is noticeable on your physical appearance, but exercising is also hugely beneficial for the heart as it reduces the risk of heart diseases and strokes. Observational studies provide compelling evidence that regular physical activity and a high fitness level are associated with a reduced risk of premature death from any cause and from cardiovascular disease in particular among asymptomatic men and women (Brown et al., 2021). Moreover, regular exercise helps improve muscle strength, flexibility, and endurance, contributing to a more active and fulfilling lifestyle.

Social Benefits of Exercising

A point that is not primarily talked about within the realm of exercising is the social effect. It may not seem like it at first, but exercising could affect your social life in some ways. For example, you are bound to meet different people and social groups as you are exercising whether it be in the gym or any other place you can exercise at, and that would make someone try and familiarize themselves with those people and social groups. Another social effect is that exercising makes you more confident in yourself and with that, your insecurities would be less, and that would mean a more socially active you. Social interactions during exercise can lead to new friendships and a sense of community, enhancing overall life satisfaction.

Conclusion

In conclusion, everyone should try and exercise regularly due to the three effects mentioned in the essay. First, the tension and stress relief that regular exercise brings. Second, the social benefits that come with it, and lastly, the physical effects that could change people's lives greatly. Incorporating regular exercise into daily routines not only enhances individual health but also fosters a sense of belonging and well-being in society.
