The concept of multi- level hybrid cloud will be common by 2020 when the customers will be benefited from private and public cloud services. The system will also ease transfer of IT data and legacies to secure and efficient hybrid systems, where the space will be offered on demand – which will allow companies to make use of scalable storage and utilities ensuring growth. Such systems will be great at risk averse, and will remain fully committed to the requirement of the customers. For it to work the network between the business and cloud should be of superior quality. It will be beneficial for people who have data storage infrastructures and want fast and straightforward integration to new technologies.

Google Cloud, recently, launched new features and solutions for content creators where animations were completed on virtual workstations as the technology partner BeBop managed various workstations. These systems are suitable for mid market firms which are growing as it provides unlimited resource utility and on demand features. Some providers give customized solutions in hybrid cloud, which can fit the desired budget and combine technologies of cloud with existing infrastructure effortlessly.

These systems offer low cost implementation, development, integrations and streamlining of existing business operations. The firm can focus on enhancing productivity, as the new systems also support cloud printing on the client’s networks where the printing can be done through mobile devices.

Basically, cloud hides the server management processes from the workstations and allocates resources on demand and hence, is mostly a function as a service. It breaks up applications into functions and rent is paid for the cloud only when the functions run.

Need for cloud

Most companies handling a number of data across various geographical regions require duplicate data at various servers to handle operations which is affected by server space and bandwidth. Every time a new file is created, it is stored at various locations, servers and wastage of storage space happens. This de duplication can be prevented by storing such information at cloud, instead, of storing files, the case where files which are just of 1 mb is stored several times and its 100 copies (equivalent to 100 mbs) are transmitted on server. The new system can prevent duplication of such files. The main purpose is to reduce storage space – transferring less data, improving security and promoting easy disaster recovery.

GDPR compliance

The new regulations of digital system and services also include the policies of GDPR (effective on 25 May 2018) where several new changes have been made. The restrictions include –

Companies need to be compliant with regulation of GDPR, even if it is located outside EU.

Data collected from customers should not be more than mentioned in the predefined purpose.

All the sensitive data should be categorised properly and managed at cloud exclusively as per the policies.

The client company will be held responsible for violation of laws by the cloud service provide and hence, the companies is needed to safeguard their data and guarantee the cloud provider will follow the regulations mentioned in GDPR.

Also the non-GDPR data and apps should be blocked in case of mixed IT environment.

In case the data is no more needed by the client company, it should be removed from cloud.

Auditing of data can prevent inefficiencies of the company and enable proper streamlining with the new regulations.
