Gun Control and School Shooting Issue

Gun control reduces crimes around the globe. Gun control is needed in our world because it will stop crimes and provide safety for our community. This gun control law is needed because it will put an end to mass shootings in our world. There have been many school shootings in the past 5 years. Which means that gun control is needed in our world to stop this.

These school shootings are severe and are putting students in danger of a firearm. This causes many students to be afraid to attend to any school parents fear this too. Gun control is needed to provide safety in school environments and elsewhere. Having this law in every state will make students feel secured in any school. For example, there was a school shooting in Parkland, Florida that left 17 innocent students dead, “After Parkland, States Pass 50 new gun control laws.” [Gambros]. The state of Florida had many people protesting for a gun control law. These protestors were fighting for the safety of students in public schools. This caused the state of Florida to pass the gun control law to keep the students in a safe environment.

Gun control law is needed in every state because mass shootings are happening everywhere around the globe. One of these shootings occurred outside of America, it occurred in New Zealand at a mosque church. “Mosque New Zealand shooting” [NewsCurrents] left about 50 people dead which left the world in shock. If gun control was available in this country this shooting would’ve happened because gun control doesn’t let you carry any gun it allows you to carry a certain gun if you are licensed.

A shooting happened in Colorado during a movie inside a theatre, the suspect left 12 people dead. “A shooting in Colorado” [NewsCurrent] having these shootings happen everywhere is causing people to be afraid in a public place. With gun control it’ll make sure people feel secured within the environment instead of feeling insecure around a public place.

Others may say gun control is not needed for safety reasons, but they are wrong because some people think the best way to solve something is by killing which lets them buy any gun if they meet the requirements which leaves anybody at risk. Gun control wouldn’t allow them to buy any gun it would let them get a certain gun if they have a license to own a gun.
