Property crimes are often referred to as criminal offenses such as burglary, larceny, fraud, embezzlement, forgery, car theft, and arson. Street robberies, violence, home break ins or burglary, and kidnapping are common crimes. Most of the burglars tend to break in when there is no person at home and the house is not secured by any grills or surveillance camera. Theft was the most common index or focus crime in general, followed by rape and physical injury, these were terrible crimes that occurred on a regular and frequent basis. Theft and loss of valuables are the main considerations when selecting a security system. Potential burglars may be deterred if they observe a home security system.

This is even more accentuated by the fact that robberies rates have risen. There are many factors that influence these robberies like poverty, lack of public cooperation, and corrupt officers, still doesn’t change the fact that it is becoming more and more unsafe. Systemic police corruption is perpetuated by historical and contemporary political and economic factors, as well as weak internal controls and other ineffective anti-corruption initiatives. Surveys and regular exposes of police misconduct on the street and at the top back up assertions of institutionalized police corruption. Media organizations continue to expose horrible robberies abductions and high-level police corruption, starting with minor acts of bribery and extortion. These pieces of information suggest that we might have to bring the security of our homes and families in our own hands. A security system is a technology that detects intrusion and unlawful entry into a structure or a specific region. Sensors are one of the key components needed to establish a security system, and they are considered to be the staples of such security systems in order to reduce the chances of getting robbed. The safety considerations cannot be ignored by a metal lock that can be distorted or melted, resulting in the solitary layer of security being entirely taken aback. Criminals find homes to be easy targets, because conventional door locks are easily broken, people are vulnerable to security threats. Door locking systems have grown in importance since a well secured home is just as important as a well built one. In addition to the opportunity, environmental conditions influence the level of crime risk.

The first defense component to ensure physical security of the house is the door. A robber can quickly enter and take the contents of a house if the door can be easily opened. The first defense component to ensure physical security of the house is the door. However, sometimes house residents forget to lock the door because they are in a hurry to leave the property, or they are unsure whether they have to closed the door or not. Initially, a door only used a physical key to lock or unlock it, but as technology advanced, a more modern door was invented, particularly the digital door, which can lock or unlock doors without the use of a physical key. In addition to the opportunity, environmental conditions, or status can influence the level of crime risk. To ensure the security of the home, the occupants will always keep the door secured whether leaving the house or when resting within.

Security becomes one of the most important considerations in protecting the home from unfavorable events or accidents. A closed circuit television system is the typical approach for home security (CCTV) use sensors, including as passive infrared (PIR) motion sensors, door open sensors, and glass break detectors, to monitor the occurrence of any unusual activity. A traditional home security system sends out alarm signals. However, safety schemes based on the GSM (Global System for Mobile Communications) provide greater safety since a text message is delivered to a certain number of people to perform the necessary actions whenever a sensor signal occurs. However, safety schemes based on the GSM (Global System for Mobile Communications) provide greater safety since a text message is delivered to a certain number of people to perform the necessary actions whenever a sensor signal occurs.
