Whether it is used to overcome the growing population’s hunger or to modernize the agriculture and livestock practices, the GMOs are a great benefit to the current time period. Evolution has always been a tremendous part of everything that occurs on and near the planet Earth. Eventually, the improvements have reached the farming fields and the cattle farms. Furthermore, scientists have acquired the technology to go even deeper into the general core. The molecular organisms are now a changeable and an improbable subject that owns the pleasure to the growing modifications in the scientific field. These so called genetically modified organisms are a pure example of evolutionary process which established the foundation for the present people. Thus, enabling humanity to dig deeper and farther into the spectrum of various biological organisms is assisting the fundamental purpose of nature. Enabling GMOs in the everyday lives of billions of people is a huge positive due to extensive food potential, the ability to alter and manufacture various genes for daily use, and most importantly, the ability to assist with or cure harmful disorders.

Genetically modified organisms promise a great increase in food production to settle the needs of the growing population. Statistically, crops with altered genome yield much more production, “Acceding to Mission 2014: Feeding the World, Biotechnology firms claim that transgenic crops promise more food with less land. GMO crops have been found to increase yields, with a 10 percent change to a genetically modified herbicide tolerant crop yielding a roughly 1.7 percent increase in productivity (USDA).” Thus, the genetically enhanced crops have the ability to produce higher food supply. Therefore, with the growing world population, GMOs contain the potential to keep the people of Earth fed. Moreover, the transgenic farming crops are genetically altered for pesticide protection. Such phenomenon is critical in the production of extensive food inventory. Significantly less goods will be subject to plant eating bugs, and thus, more finished goods will reach the market. Genetically modified organisms are optimal in keeping the hunger away but the livestock industry also benefits from such invention.

Food comes not only from crops but also from the farm animals and it is crucial to satisfy the needs of the animals, “According to Beef Research, In fact, available health indicators actually improved over time and productivity continued to improve, due likely to improved management and genetic selection, and at similar rates as observed in 1996 before the introduction of GE crop varieties.” Thus. The other food supply of the population is also benefiting from GMOs. Furthermore, when animals consume genetically modified crops they show higher production rate and increased health factors. Thereafter, the modified genetic crops help the humans by providing enough food and also assist the animals by making them healthier and more productive during the lifespan. Food is a very critical factor in determining the usefulness of certain methods but preserving the planet is quite necessary as well.

Genetically modified organisms are extremely beneficial to the environment of the planet. Crops which contain a built-in insect resistance are much more environmentally friendly than normal farming process, “According to Mission 2014: Feeding the World, Use of transgenic plants increases yields and decreases the need for pesticide use, thereby preventing significant ecological damage. GM pesticide-producing crops are engineered to produce Bt toxins, a crystal protein naturally synthesized by the bacterium bacillus thuringiensis. The United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has found that these toxins do not activate in the human gut, and pose no risk to human health (EPA).” Thus, there appears to be a minimal natural risk in using GMOs farming methods. Moreover, the risk is actually decreased due to the fact that engineered pesticides within crops are significantly healthier for the planet than the synthesized pesticides spray. Furthermore, genetically modified organisms have absolutely no effect on living creatures including humans. However, the tradition bug sprays can lead to certain stomach problems. Conserving the planet is a very important goal indeed but the ability to treat untreatable disorders is very innovating and exciting as well.

GMOs possess an unlimited power in the medical field because serious, historically untreatable disorders are now on the verge of extinction. Genetic editing allows for the human DNA to be altered and modified, “According to The Tech Museum of Innovation, The only real option right now to fix genetic diseases is to use gene therapy. In gene therapy, the "good" version of a gene is introduced into a patient's DNA. The hope is that this healthy copy of the gene will overcome the problems of the disease version.” Thus, various genetic diseases have a strong opponent in the face of genetic engineering methods. Therefore, genetically modified organisms within the human DNA sequences will have an enormous potential to cure medical catastrophes. Moreover, with the ongoing improvements in the transgenic studies, humans will have the optimal ability to remove all the inherited disorders. Thereafter, a huge array of opportunities open due to the knowledge of genetic technologies.

Overall, GMOs are a huge positive in the contribution to the planet and the people that is observed. Evolutionary progress has always tried to improve and alter the living organism’s style of living and the genetically modified organisms are a pure example of such process and desire. The future holds great potential in the use of such scientific advancements and promises the biggest revolutionary change in the history of the world. Furthermore, GMOs are also quite useful in the present as well. Papaya, which is a very exotic fruit would already have been extinct if it was not for the use of the gene replacement technology. Moreover, all the bananas consumed today are a pure example of genetic movement because all of the yellow fruit that humans eat with great enjoyment are actually clones. Thereafter, positives are appearing everywhere and most people don’t realize them until the information is researched and learned. Thereby, natural evolution is unique and powerful and mistakes are unavoidable and that’s exactly the reason why scientific evolution was created.
