Everyone gets rejected at one point or the other; some even get rejected daily, weekly or monthly. Rejection is not peculiar to women, but our focus would be on how women can effectively deal with failure and rejection when they occur. According to Winston Churchill Success is not final, failure is not fatal, it is the courage to continue that counts. Women are saddled with different responsibilities and high expectations that often they tended to get depressed and stressed up. It is time to let go of those negative emotions, a few tips on how to cope with failure and rejection would be:
Pessimistic people with their negative ideas must be avoided. They could be family members, friends, or even colleagues at work. People who cant see anything good in themselves or others are the worst sort. They maximize failures and give them long-lasting memories. As women, we should be able quick to dismiss such people from our lives and bounce from whatever challenge we are going through.
The truth is, not every day will be a good day. So we need to learn to appreciate the good days and also manage the bad days. If something goes wrong how do we take it? Do we stay brooding all day? Do we curse and swear? Do we wallow in self-pity? Do we blame ourselves, thinking we are not good enough? Pretty enough? Intelligent, enough? Reacting in any of these ways can take its toll on our emotions and make it harder to cope with the incident. Women should learn damage control. Once an event or relationship don't go as planned, we should waste no time in picking the pieces of our lives and move on cheerfully without any ill feelings.
Finally, we should be vigilant with our heart and how we love, we should control our anger and angry thoughts, we should be watchful and learn something from every daunting situation and also focus our energy on achieving the success and appreciation we desire.
